It may not be an official royal tour, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s visit to Australia has definitely created a lot of buzz — particularly around Meghan’s fashion choices. True to her signature quiet‑luxury style, the Duchess relied on chic, minimalist pieces from top designers for her public visits. One of the most talked‑about items, in fact, was a pricey Bottega Veneta wallet — and we found an equally sleek, way less pricey alternative.

Affordable‑luxury atelier Quince has some of the best Italian leather goods for less, so it only makes sense that their Italian Leather Handwoven Continental Wallet delivers the same look as Markle’s go-to accessory without the designer‑level price. While the Duchess’ Bottega Veneta accessory costs an eye-watering $950, Quince’s designer-lookalike is only $52.

Unlike other brands that cut costs by using fake leather and lackluster design features, Quince’s hand-woven wallet uses authentic Italian leather, giving it that rich, quiet‑luxury finish we can’t resist. The interior, too, has plenty of room to pack everything from credit cards to cash, and a small zip compartment fits things like a phone and passport — you name it.

It’s so thoughtfully designed and roomy, it could actually serve as a chic clutch when you don’t feel like carrying a full bag (even though Quince has some incredible hand-woven leather bags, too). And if black isn’t your go-to color, the Italian leather wallet also comes in an easy-to-match taupe and cognac as well.

We aren’t the only ones obsessed with this luxe‑for‑less accessory, either. Quince shoppers rave about everything from the buttery‑soft leather to the impeccable craftsmanship and long-lasting durability, saying it’s spacious and looks and feels far more expensive than it is.

“This wallet has many card compartments and pockets, which is great for people like me who have a variety of cards (IDs, credit/debit, membership, etc.) and a spacious zipper compartment for coins and charms. It’s basically the wallet version of a binder,” one reviewer said. “The woven exterior looks and feels like it’s from a high-end brand except the price is very reasonable (and not the cost of a plane ticket).”

“Love this wallet! It has lots of space and is super elegant. I was worried that the woven part would snag, but I’ve had this wallet for almost a year, and it still looks brand new,” another shopper raved.

While we might not ever have the fashion budget of Meghan Markle, we can absolutely channel her rich-mom style — starting with a chic Italian wallet that looks straight out of her royal rotation. In other words, no need to splurge on the real thing.
