Why toil away whipping up a complicated stuffing (or dressing) recipe for Thanksgiving this year when one recipe lets White Castle do most of the work?

The fast-food chain shared its version of the popular holiday dish online ahead of Turkey Day, and not only is the recipe incredibly easy, but it also uses about a dozen White Castle Sliders (which can either be bought fresh or purchased frozen) instead of the more traditional meat choice: sausage.

According to Delish, the White Castle turkey stuffing recipe actually dates back to 1991, when a team member inadvertently created it while trying to improve her grandmother’s take on the side. Apparently the result was good enough to share with the rest of the White Castle crew, and the rest, as they say, is history.

As with most stuffings, this version is meant to go inside the bird, meaning your Thanksgiving dinner could combine turkey and hamburgers, because why not? In addition to the sliders, which White Castle suggests you use sans pickles, the recipe features celery, sage, thyme, black pepper and chicken broth.
