While fans of 1923 have certainly become acquainted with actress Michelle Randolph, the rising star is making headlines for more than just her onscreen performances.
The California native got her start in acting with roles in movies such as 5 Years Apart (2019), The Resort (2021) and The Throwback (2024). She later rose to fame in the mainstream after landing the role of Elizabeth “Liz” Strafford — Jack Dutton’s (Darren Mann) fiancée — in the Yellowstone spinoff drama 1923.
Fame runs in the family: Michelle is sisters with Bachelor Nation alum Cassie Randolph, who first entered the spotlight following her season 23 win on The Bachelor. After winning the heart of retired football player Colton Underwood, the pair made headlines for their split, after which Underwood came out as gay via an interview on Good Morning America.
Michelle, meanwhile, was a source of support for Cassie amid the drama and her sister returned the favor when the actress landed her role on the Yellowstone spinoff.
“So excited that I just had to make my own post about it! Yellowstone fans, GET READY! Ah! So beyond proud of you @michellerandolph,” she gushed in September 2022. “Even though it means I’ve lost you to Montana for 7+ months. This sister of mine has worked harder than anyone I know to make her dreams a reality, and I love more than anything watching them come true. You inspire me little sister! Every time I think about it I get goosebumps💕 I love you!!!”
“It’s so pure and innocent and hopeful — and passionate too,” Michelle exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping about Elizabeth and Jack’s love story. “And they’re very unapologetically in love with each other. Which is really sweet because, I think, watching two people so in love you can’t help but be happy for them.”
During the December 2022 interview, she added that the cast — which includes Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford — and crew of the drama is “amazing.”
Michelle continued to portray Elizabeth in the show’s second and final season, which premiered in February 2025. She went on to appear in the contemporary Western drama Landman and was later announced as a cast member of Scream 7, which is set to premiere in 2026.
In November 2025, the actress sparked dating rumors with actor Glen Powell after the two were spotted line dancing together during a night out in Austin, Texas. While fans immediately took to social media to speculate, neither party has issued a statement on the status of their relationship.
