Welcome to Plathville’s Lydia and Husband Zac Allude to ‘Naughty’ Sex Life, Talk Kids’ Timeline (Exclusive)

Welcome to Plathville‘s Lydia Plath and husband Zac Wyse are hinting that their sex life is “naughty” after saving their first kiss for their wedding.

“Is the honeymoon phase over yet?” a producer asks the newlyweds, who break out into an awkward laugh, in Luxury Handbag Shopping’s exclusive sneak peek at the season 8 premiere airing on Tuesday, March 31.

“Nope,” Zac, 24, teases while looking at his wife, 22.

Lydia plays coy about their bedroom activities, but reveals, “Zac sees the side of me that no one else will ever see, ever know about. That’s that.”

Zac, for his part, hints that since tying the knot in February 2025, the couple have explored their sexuality together.

“I think I’ve not only introduced her, but also [clears throat] watered the seed of curiosity for her in this realm,” Zac tells the cameras. “So I think it’s fun to see her and me just, like, interact in those ways.”

When the producer points out, “Lydia, Zac just said you’re naughty,” she starts to laugh and holds onto her husband’s hand.

“It’s true,” Zac replies, confirming that Lydia has a wild side to her.

The couple’s sex life confession might come as a surprise to some as Lydia and Zac shared during season 7 of the TLC series that they didn’t want to have their first kiss until their wedding day. While both parties had been kissed before they began dating, Zac’s choice to refrain from being intimate with Lydia raised red flags for some of Lydia’s family members.

Lydia’s brother Ethan Plath questioned Zac’s sexuality during an August 2025 and confronted him about refraining from any sexual relations with his sister before they were husband and wife.

“It’s not anything that I expected to make a commitment to, but because of who Lydia is, it changed my heart and was like, ‘Yeah, no, that’s something I really do want to commit to, to honor her,’” Zac explained at the time, noting that saving themselves in every way was “tied to the core belief that we do have in Jesus Christ.”

Ethan later told his brother Micah Plath, “I don’t think it’s honest to say, ‘I’m not kissing her because, you know, of the fruit of the loom. The seven fruits of whatever.’ F*** off, you big holy bastard. I think that’s a bulls*** answer.”

Despite some backlash from Lydia’s relatives, Zac and Lydia said “I do” in February 2025, just four months after they got engaged. Since their wedding, the couple have been teasing when they will expand their family — and according to Lydia she’s counting down the days.

“I am excited to have started family and everything with you,” Zac tells Lydia in Us’ exclusive clip from the upcoming season premiere.

Lydia notes that she feels “ready to be a mother,” but Zac says there are “a lot of places” he wants to travel with his wife before they have kids in tow.

“It’s not that we’re going to stop traveling when we have kids,” Lydia argues. “There will just be fewer in five between and more special because there’ll be more people to share with.”

Zac, meanwhile, tells the cameras that they have only been married eight months — at the time of filming — so they were “planning to wait a year before we start a family.”

Lydia points out that means there are “four months left” before they can start trying, but “who’s counting?”

Zac jokes, “Apparently you,” while looking directly at his spouse.

Season 8 of Welcome to Plathville premieres on TLC Tuesday, March 31, at 10 p.m. ET.
