The Valley’s Zack Wickham and Jasmine Goode Discuss ‘Stigma’ Around Using GLP-1s for Their Weight Loss (Exclusive)

The Valley’s Zack Wickham and Jasmine Goode are done with people shaming the use of GLP-1s amid their own weight-loss journeys.

“I think it’s actually important [to talk about],” Zack, 39, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping of being open about GLP-1s on reality TV while promoting season 3 of The Valley.

Zack, who allowed Bravo producers to film him taking a GLP-1 injection on camera, is proud he was so vocal about his experience with the drug. (GLP-1s like Ozempic or Wegovy were created to help treat Type 2 diabetes and have also been used for weight loss.)

“It’s like, ‘Oh, he did his GLP-1 shot on camera.’ But I think it’s, like, there’s a stigma that shouldn’t be around it,” Zack explained to Us on Monday, March 30. “Because using something like a GLP-1 can be life-changing for a lot of people in multiple ways.”

The reality star, who started using the drug in 2025, added, “I want to also showcase, like, ‘Hey, don’t be afraid to say you’re on this.’ Because there is no reason. There’s no shame with it.”

Jasmine, 38, was in total agreement with her friend and costar, noting she is newer to GLP-1s but is already seeing results.

“I just started a couple months ago, and [it] changed my life, like, mentally, [I’m] just feeling better about myself,” she shared with Us. “It’s not just about losing weight. I think that’s what people [think], like, ‘Oh, you wanna lose weight.’ It’s not about wanting to lose weight.”

The former Bachelor contestant explained that for her, “It’s about feeling good and feeling good mentally.”

Jasmine continued, “I think there’s a connection with food and stuff like that. We can go on that for days, but the bottom line is, don’t be ashamed of it. I think that it’s just something people need to just, like, stop.”

Zack chimed in, telling Us that it’s the “same with mental health” when people judge “what medicines you’re on.”

“Some people need them, including myself, and it’s like, there should be no shame about talking about how you take care of yourself,” Zack said, comparing mental health medication and GLP-1s. “It is self care.”

While Jasmine, who is currently planning her wedding with fiancée Melissa Marie, is a newer GLP-1 user, Zack has been sharing his journey on social media since 2025.

In July 2025, Zack showed off his slimdown, revealing in an Instagram video that he lost 35 pounds by taking a GLP-1, doing one-on-one coaching with Shed and working out. “Honestly, it’s been life-changing for me not to have food noise,” he captioned the post.

Three months later, Zack posted shirtless pictures in celebration of his birthday, noting that he was able to “get my summer body by fall.”

The Valley airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
