Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes’ friendship continues to flourish.
Swift, 35, and Brittany, 29, shared a sweet hug and cheered with their arms around each other after their significant others — Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and Brittany’s husband, Patrick Mahomes — helped the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Buffalo Bills during the 2025 AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 26.
During the game’s post-win celebrations, Swift and Brittany took to the field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to catch Kelce, 35, make a speech amid formalizing the Chiefs’ entry into February’s Super Bowl LIX alongside his teammates.
Photos from the moment captured Swift wrapping her arms around a smiling Brittany as Swift gazed up at the Chiefs’ stage where proceedings were taking place. Further pics showed Swift raising her arm in the air as she slung her left arm around a laughing Brittany’s neck as Kelce’s mom, Donna, giggled beside them.
Brittany, who gave birth to her third child, Golden Raye, earlier this month and shares two other children, Sterling and Bronze, with Patrick, 29, also shared moments from the celebrations via her Instagram Story on Sunday evening.
One Story showed celebratory confetti flying through the air as Brittany was heard cheering in the background, while another zoomed in on Patrick, 29, accepting his trophy and waving to the crowd.
Swift and Brittany’s friendship has blossomed since Swift began dating Kelce in summer 2023. The pair have supported the Chiefs during multiple games throughout this NFL season, and Swift also gave the Mahomes family a thoughtful gift to celebrate the arrival of baby Golden.
According to a source who spoke to Luxury Handbag Shopping on Saturday, January 25, Swift crafted a blanket for Golden. “She makes a lot of things for the people she loves and cares about,” the source told Us. “She makes sentimental gifts that are more of value to her than expensive gifts.”
As for Swift and Brittany’s strong bond, another source told Us in October 2023 that the pair’s friendship accelerated quickly. “Brittany [was] thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor. They’ve hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time,” the insider said at the time. “Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet, and down to earth, and they get along really great.”
Just one month after Us spoke to the source, Brittany joined Swift on a girls’ night out in New York City alongside Swift’s famous friends Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner and Gigi Hadid.
Brittany and Patrick have also shown their support for Swift, celebrating the end of her Eras Tour in December 2024 by attending an Eras-themed party. “My people,” Brittany captioned a series of photos from the bashk, posing with Swift and fellow Chiefs wife Lyndsay Bell.
