Housewife kids Sophia Umansky, Nick Dubrow and Mason Grammer “will be on Next Gen LA,” Luxury Handbag Shopping can exclusively confirm — and filming is underway.

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s daughter Sophia, 26, was recently spotted at Galerie nightclub in Los Angeles “with the whole crew filming for the sizzle reel,” a source tells Us, adding that filming is “early in the process” for the new Bravo series, which has yet to be officially announced by the network.

Luxury Handbag Shopping has reached out to Bravo for comment.

Us can confirm that Sophia, the middle daughter of exes Kyle, 57, and Mauricio, 55, is one of three Real Housewives children tapped to participate in Next Gen LA, a spinoff of Next Gen NYC which premiered in June 2025.

Fans were first introduced to Sophia on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as her mother has been a main cast member of the LA-based franchise since season 1 in 2010. Sophia was also featured on season 2 of Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills, which centered on Mauricio’s The Agency real estate group. (Kyle and Mauricio announced in 2023 that they had separated after 27 years of marriage.)

Nick, 22, for his part is one of Heather Dubrow and husband Terry Dubrow’s four children. His life has been featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County thanks to mom Heather, 57, who has been part of the series on and off since 2012’s season 7.

Nick is also a twin with sister Max Dubrow, both of whom have been in the public eye since childhood.

Mason’s Housewife connection, meanwhile, dates back to 2010, when her mother, Camille Grammer, made her debut as an OG member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She exited the series at the end of season 9 but has returned in a cameo capacity on various seasons.

Mason, 24, is also the daughter of actor Kelsey Grammer, who has a total of eight children from different relationships. (Kelsey, 70, and Camille, 57, also share son Jude, 21.)

Rumors about Next Gen LA first surfaced in summer 2025, after the success of Next Gen NYC, which included Housewife kids Gia Giudice, Brooks Marks, Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss as well as other young adults living in New York City and trying to navigate their lives in the Big Apple.

At the time, Adrienne Maloof and Cynthia Bailey claimed that their kids were approached to take part in the California-based iteration.

“Now they’re coming to us to want to do this show, that show about the next generation like my kids,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne, 64, alleged during a June 2025 appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, claiming her son Gavin, 22, and twin boys Collin and Christian, 19, were all being considered but it was “up to them” whether they’d join the cast.

Cynthia, who is on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, claimed during the same podcast that her daughter Noelle, 26, was asked to be part of the series as well.

“I don’t know what Noelle wants to do yet. It’s totally her decision,” Cynthia, 58, said. “It’s her choice. She’s been watching it. I’ve just been like, ‘Keep watching it and see how you feel about it.’”

Mason’s mom, Camille, played coy in November 2025 as to whether her daughter had been approached as casting rumors swirled at BravoCon.

“We’ll see,” Camille exclusively told Us during the three-day fan event in Las Vegas. “There’re rumors, but I don’t know anything. I don’t, but I’ve heard the rumors.”

Camille revealed that she did have advice for Mason if she decided to step into the reality TV world amid her modeling career.

“Just be herself. She’s such a good, level headed person,” Camille said of her daughter. “She might be too sweet for a reality show, but she’s tough. She can stand up for herself. She won’t back down, I know that.”
