It has been a week of unforgettable celebrations for Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley and his family.
Barkley, 28, helped the Eagles wallop the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9 — with Barkley setting the all-time NFL record for rushing yards in a season including playoffs in the process — which also happened to be the running back’s birthday.
In the afterglow of his Super Bowl victory, Barkley partied with his extended family, which his fiancée, Anna Congdon, showed off via Instagram on Tuesday, February 11.
As part of the festivities, Barkley’s 6-year-old daughter, Jada, made a drawing of their immediate family — Barkley, Congdon and their 2-year-old son, Saquon Jr. — which was then transferred onto a birthday cake for her dad.
“Jada’s art takes the cake 🎂🤍✨,” Congdon captioned a carousel of photos from the party.
The shindig was also attended by Barkley’s sisters, Aliyah and Sha-quona, his brother, Ali, his parents, Tonya and Alibay, and Prime Video sideline reporter Taylor Rooks.
The party came on the heels of the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory in New Orleans, which was attended by Congdon and the couple’s two kids.
“Dear God, thank you for this moment,” Congdon captioned a separate carousel of photos from the game via Instagram on Tuesday.
Barkley commented, “Love you 🖤.”
The Eagles star announced his engagement to Congdon, who have been together since 2017, just days before the Super Bowl.
“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have [so far] in my career without the help of her,” Barkley told People in a story published February 2. “She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on.”
Barkley added, “So, we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”
The couple met while they were both students at Penn State University. Barkley was drafted by the New York Giants in 2018, where he spent the first six seasons of his NFL career. He signed a three-year, $37.75 million contract with the Eagles in March 2024.
“It’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children,” Barkley said of his relationship with Congdon. “We just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”
