Michael Rapaport has strong feelings about who he wants to win the 2025 Super Bowl – and how he wants Taylor Swift to react to his ideal result.

“I am hoping to see Taylor Swift cry,” the actor and comedian, 54, said during a radio interview on the 94WIP Morning Show With DeCamara & Ritchie on Tuesday, February 4. “I want to see if her mascara can hold up after a ginormous loss. And we know she loves her man [Travis Kelce] when he’s winning, but will she still ride with him when he takes a ginormous loss?”

Kelce, 35, and the Chiefs will go head-to-head against the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9. Though Swift, 35, grew up an Eagles fan, she has been one of the Chiefs’ biggest supporters since she began dating the tight end in 2023. Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, recently confirmed that Swift will be in attendance at this year’s big game.

Poking fun at Swift’s star-studded 2024 Super Bowl suite, Rapaport continued: “She’s up there with — you never know who’s going to be in the booth. I want to see that mascara running on Sunday, running. … I want to hear her call out, like, Isiah Pacheco or [head coach] Andy Reid [like], ‘Why didn’t he throw the ball to my boyfriend?’”

Earlier in the interview, one of the hosts asked Rapaport why he doesn’t hold any “animosity” toward the Eagles for taking in running back Saquon Barkley after he was let go from his favorite team, the New York Giants.

“Yes, historically, I have a lot of problems with the Philadelphia Eagles. A lot,” Rapaport explained. “I am a Philadelphia 76ers fan, not as much as I love my New York Knicks or my New York Giants. But my first favorite player, my first favorite athlete was the great Dr. J [Julius Erving]. He was beyond an athlete. He was like a superhero to me. And my first favorite movie was Rocky, so I have an affinity for Philadelphia.”

On top of his soft spot for Philly, Rapaport said he’s over the Chiefs’ ongoing NFL success. “I’m sick and tired of [Patrick] Mahomes, sick and tired of Travis Kelce’s mustache and his haircuts,” he said. “And Saquon Barkley, I’m happy for him. I’m truly happy for him because he would not have the season that he had had he been with the Giants. And it’s the Giants’ fault, so we can’t hold it against Saquon.”

Which Is Your Favorite Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Moment?

While Rapaport has his fingers crossed for a Chiefs loss on Sunday, Travis is using his girlfriend as inspiration for the big game. “I better hold up my end of the bargain, alright?” he said during a Monday, February 3, Super Bowl press conference. “If she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, you know, I better match that energy, for sure.”

He also theorized that Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, will root for the Chiefs despite his Eagles fan status. “I’ll have to ask Scott himself, we haven’t had that convo yet,” he told reporters. “But I think he’ll be wearing red. I don’t know.”
