Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy Teases a ‘Few Bumps in the Road’ With Husband Brett This Season (Exclusive)

Madison LeCroy and husband Brett Randle have survived the reality TV curse so far — but that doesn’t mean they haven’t had a few relationship hiccups.

“You’re going to get to see a side [of me where] I open up more in my home life,” Madison, 34, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping about her story line on season 10 of Southern Charm, which premieres on Thursday, December 5.

She teased that two years into her marriage, “There’s a few bumps in the road, but we come out on top.”

“I don’t want to give too much away, but it’s really — it’s an emotional year for us,” Madison shared, noting that her father’s death and “dealing with my husband” contributed to the hard year.

During the season 10 trailer, which dropped in October, fans got a sneak peek at the trouble Madison is talking about. “If I lost him, I would die,” she says in the teaser, referring to Brett.

Madison told Us on Wednesday, December 4, that the trailer is talking about her relationship “bumps” but it’s not what it seems.

“He didn’t sign up for this, so I just obviously am very protective over him and [my son] Hudson,” Madison said. “That’s kind of where I feel like I’ll always be. So as long as nobody comes into that, I’m good to go.”

The hairstylist — who shares son Hudson, 12, with ex-husband Josh Hughes — noted that fans will have to tune in to see what sort of challenges she and Brett, 38, faced while filming. However, she assured Us, “It’ll be good. It comes out good.”

Madison was introduced on season 6 of Southern Charm while dating costar Austen Kroll. She revealed exclusively to Us in December 2020 that the pair called it quits.

Madison moved on with Brett, whom she wed in November 2022. Despite living apart for days at a time, the reality star insisted that her relationship is solid. (Brett works in California, but lives in Charleston with Madison and Hudson.)

“I’m living my best life. I’m super happy,” Madison gushed. “A lot of people don’t want to hear that. They want to hear the bad things going on, but it’s been wonderful.”

When it comes to Brett’s work schedule, she explained that it “works great” for her, teasing he’s “not like a part-time husband, but kind of.”

All jokes aside, Madison told Us, “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.” She also shared that the couple are still planning on expanding their family after her son recently gave them the go ahead.

“One day he just put his hand on my shoulder and he goes, ‘Mom, I’m ready.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, you’re ready?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, you can have a baby now,’” Madison recalled. “I was like, ‘Oh, thank goodness.’ I was like, ‘OK, now I actually can do this.’”

Although she confessed that she doesn’t know if “you’re ever” really ready for parenthood, she is excited for the future. “You’re never going to be prepared to the fullest,” Madison said. “But I think it’s just one of those things that [you know] the outcome is wonderful.”

As Madison prepares to expand her brood, fans can watch her current life unfold on season 10 of Southern Charm, premiering this month.

“This group, it is a wild one, but we keep evolving,” she teased of the new season. “I think it’s going to be one of our best yet.”

Madison told Us, “I’m sure people will be able to relate to what’s going on in my life,” confessing, “I’m not just cussing people out this time.” She clarified that she might yell just “a little” this season.

Season 10 of Southern Charm premieres on Bravo Thursday, December 5, at 9 p.m. ET.
