Just because Nic Vansteenberghe found love with Olandria Carthen on reality TV doesn’t mean he has to share everything with the public.
“I felt like, at first, I was pressured [to share]. We are filmed 24/7,” Nic, 24, exclusively shared with Luxury Handbag Shopping at the CELSIUS soccer classic draft dinner on Tuesday, April 21. “Lately, I haven’t been posting anything. It’s actually so great, so sorry to not give you crumbs Nicolandria Nation. But you know, mama and papa will be there for you.”
Last summer, millions of viewers fell in love with Nic and Olandria’s connection on Peacock’s hit reality show Love Island USA.
Although the pair didn’t participate in the show’s spinoff Beyond the Villa, Nic is happy to report that both he and Olandria, 27, are preparing for an upcoming milestone in their relationship.
“We’re coming up on a year. I feel like that’s a pretty big milestone,” Nic shared with Us. “Made it through the trenches.”
While fans may be hoping to hear what the romantic plans are, Nic is keeping any and all celebrations tight to the chest for now.
“I think, you know, Nic always goes big,” he teased. “Olandria goes even bigger, so when you put a Nicolandria together, they go the biggest.”
For now, Nic is living life to the fullest as he balances relationships, family, a growing DJ career and even some soccer.
To celebrate Celsius’ new electric vibe flavor, Nic will participate in a celebrity soccer match for charity with familiar faces, including Tyler Cameron, Dixie D’Amelio, Kendall Washington, Josh Richards and more.
When he has some free time, Nic may just find himself checking with his former Love Island costars on their newest show, Beyond the Villa.
“I’m just watching afar. It’s like sipping my tea and watching afar,” he shared with Us. “I’m supporting from afar, but wow. It is interesting to say the least.”
According to the season trailer, Nic will make a special cameo appearance and serve as a DJ at what appears to be a cast event.
At the start of 2025, the reality star was a single registered nurse helping patients at hospitals and doctors’ offices. When looking back on this chapter of his life, Nic can’t help but be blown away by everything he has accomplished.
“We’re going to focus on music. We’re going to focus on new TV, focus on relationships, friendships and family,” Nic shared. “Always love, one love, electric vibes baby.”
