Love Is Blind season 7 included some of the biggest off-camera drama yet — meaning it left Us with a ton of questions for the reunion.
While the finale saw two couples walk down the aisle — Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans and Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis — the other pairs — Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka, Stephen Richardson and Monica Davis, Marissa George and Ramses Prashad and Alex Byrd and Tim Godbee — all called it quits before their big days.
Marissa and Ramses had one of the most shocking breakups of the season; starting out as one of the strongest couples, they quickly fell apart when conversations arose about topics like Marissa’s time in the military and Ramses hesitation to wear condoms during sex. The shocking split left Us with plenty of questions — although if the duo have since rekindled their romance isn’t one of them.
“We saw each other a few times after [we broke up]. I took the breakup really hard, as you can imagine from the scene of me crying and stuff,” Marissa told Glamour in an October interview. “It took me probably six months to get back on track and to really start to move on.”
Marissa told the outlet that she and Ramses saw each other a few times in Washington D.C. and started talking on the phone regularly, but when she suggested they try again, he shut down the idea.
“[In] February or March, I did ask him if he wanted to get back together,” Marissa said. “I’m not really ashamed to say that because I’m someone who’s like, ‘If you feel it, you feel it, like, what’s the worst that can happen?’ And he’s like, ‘Nah.’ So after that, we just stopped communication.”

Who Is Still Together and Who Broke Up?
At the time of the finale, Taylor and Garrett and Ashley and Tyler were the only two couples to say “I do,” but did both couples make it all the way to the reunion without calling it quits? There’s also the possibility that some former couples got back together or someone found a new partner from within the LiB franchise. (We know Marissa and Ramses haven’t rekindled their romance, since she told Glamour earlier this month that he turned down the idea when she suggested it months after their split.)
The reunion revealed that Taylor and Garrett and Ashley and Tyler are still happily married.
So, Wait, Why Did Ramses Break Up With Marissa — And What Does He Have Against Condoms?

While the season 7 finale showed Ramses telling Marissa it was over, he never quite committed to a reason for believing they wouldn’t work out long term — despite her asking repeatedly for a reason.
The reunion didn’t take long to ask Ramses for answers about the split and he explained that he began to “recognize” that there was a “space” in the pair’s “energy” that began after they left the pods.
“There was one day where I think it just really hit home for me and realized and recognized that if I move forward with Marissa, every day I would be in a place where I would feel exhausted and overwhelmed,” he said. “I don’t want to change who she is, she deserves a person and a love that wil embrace who she is fully and i just felt that person couldn’t be me.”
When Marissa — and her mom — asked him why he didn’t express his doubts sooner, Ramses admitted his “one regret” about the experience is not being more “forthcoming,” adding that he takes “full accountability” for not letting Marissa in on his feelings.
When it came to the discussion of condoms, Ramses said he and Marissa had multiple “nuanced” conversations about contraception.
“I wanted to clarify that at no point did I ever try to present Marissa with an ultimatum. She had very valid reasons as to why she didn’t want to use hormonal contraception and I’m well aware of the effects it has on a woman’s body, so I’d never try and force that upon her,” he claimed. “We sort of arrived at a solution that worked best for us, and it wasn’t just me being whiny and bratty and, like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to use a condom or whatever that perception is.’”
What Were in the Text Messages Between Stephen and Sleep Test Girl?
The first — and most explosive — breakup of the season came when Monica discovered NSFW text messages Stephen had sent a woman he met during a sleep test behind her back. While Stephen admitted to sending the messages, he claimed to have deleted them and left their shared apartment before any details were given beyond them discussing each other’s “kinks.” We’d like to see those messages printed out and read out loud, please.
During the reunion, Stephen said that he had “deleted” the messages. He noted that he didn’t want to go into detail about what was exchanged out of “respect” for the individual he was texting, to which Monica replied, “That ship has sailed. You respect that individual but you didn’t respect me.”
The exes then revealed they had met up for dinner to discuss what happened after they stopped filming. However, when Stephen revealed he wrote a letter to Monica’s parents apologizing, she accused him of writing it just so he could share it on the reunion.
Although Stephen initially said that “nobody” wanted to hear his side of the story despite him “going to therapy” to improve himself, he did offer some insight into what happened at the sleep test.
“I had a moment of weakness where somebody texted me and they were talking about a heart condition and then immediately after that they go into, ‘So I’ve gotten into some interesting fetishes lately,'” he recalled. “Understanding that this was probably a conversation I should not entertain, I was still curious how [they] made this jump so I said, ‘What kind of fetishes?’ And then I entertained that conversation and I knew I shouldn’t. And then I put my phone down and I said ‘I’ve done this before, I know how it ends this is not the man I want to be.'”
Stephen added that he has still “never met” the girl he messages in person and hasn’t spoken to her since. Monica, for her part, said while she has no idea if she and Stephen would have made it down the aisle, she “never” thought he would emotionally cheat on her.
Does Marissa Regret Not Choosing Bodhan?
There were multiple love triangles blossoming in the pods this season, with one of the most prominent being Marissa’s connection with both Ramses and Bodhan Olinares. Although she ultimately chose Ramses, Marissa and Bodhan did catch up at the Bachelor/Bachelorette party — and sparks were flying! Knowing Ramses cut ties with her days before their wedding, does Marissa wonder what could have been between her and Bodhan? (There’s also the question of whether Hannah and Leo wish they had chosen each other.)
Bodhan was not present at the reunion, and was not discussed by Marissa.
What Went Down Between Leo and Brittany in Miami and Why Weren’t They Chosen for Mexico?
After a dramatic back and forth in the pods, Leo and Hannah ultimately called it quits and got engaged to their other connections: Brittany and Nick. And although Hannah and Nick were ultimately sent to Mexico, Netflix opted not to include Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski — after an intensely awkward first meeting — on the trip Hopefully, the reunion will answer why that was, and what exactly went down between the pair when they decided to fly to Miami together before breaking up for good.
Brittany kicked off her portion of the reunion by reflecting on her and Leo’s awkward meeting post-pod engagement.
“I was hoping it would never be shown. I was fully aware of how awkward it was as I was watching it. At first I was like, ‘OK this isn’t too bad!’ and then it just got worse and worse. But I wasn’t uncomfortable with him,” she explained. “He was the most comforting part of the moment I was just so uncomfortable … You know, there’s all eyes on you. So I was leaning to him for comfort but was like, ‘This is a stranger.'”
Brittany confessed she “truly knew” she wouldn’t be going to Mexico, noting that the show takes the experiment “seriously” and want to “follow couples that they think are going to make it to the alter. And we clearly were not.”
When it came down to what happened in Miami — and why the pair called it quits — Brittany shared that they had a “very good time” but were not compatible.
“I think vacation truly is the make or break in a relationship and we did not pass that test, but we did have so much fun,” she said. “All my friends love Leo, I love Leo. We’re very good friends now, we talk for hours on the phone. But traveling together, there’s just some quirks that you realize you’re not compatible with longterm. For example, every time we had a drink, he would take a sip of my drink. We would have the same martini and he would take a sip from mine.”
When asked about the unique quirk and the breakup, Leo said, “I love to share food, I love to share drinks, and I think sometimes the little things really do add up. … We really just realized we were better as friends.”
Did Nick and Katie Reconnect After the Show?
One of Nick and Hannah’s biggest fights came after their joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party when Nick caught up with another one of his pod connections, Katie, which left Hannah feeling uncomfortable. While Nick said there was nothing romantic between them — and they were simply discussing why Katie decided to end things between them— Hannah wasn’t sold; she especially took issue with Katie, who she called her “best friend in the world,” telling her how “hot” Nick was throughout that night. Now that Nick and Hannah have split, did Nick and Katie give their romance another try?
Nick and Katie did not reunite post-filming, but Katie did attend the reunion. When asked about her conversation with Nick, she explained she was “sick” over making Hannah upset, and revealed that she and Hannah — along with Marissa — are still BFFs.
Why Was Tim So Against Alex Sleeping?

One of the reasons Tim used for his breakup with Alex was her wanting to take a lot of naps. While it’s understandable he was peeved that she went to sleep while his family was visiting, fans are clamoring to know if there was anything deeper to his disdain for her ability to conk out at a moment’s notice — it doesn’t seem that crazy to Us!
Alex said that what viewers didn’t witness in Mexico was a “verbal disagreement” between them before their breakup and revealed that her dad had been admitted to “a rehab facility” one week before she left for the show. She said being away from her family for weeks made her crave “space,” which she wasn’t given.
The sleeping debacle, Alex said, came after she wanted a nap before she went in for her bartending shift. Tim, for his part, said he called it quits because he felt the “level of respect” he was giving wasn’t being received. He used her “being in the club until 4 a.m” and not letting him know she “made it home” as examples, which Alex denied. She then accused Tim of saying he had “doubts” about their relationship just hours after asking her dad for permission to marry her.
Tim called Alex’s allegations her “version of the truth” and said he felt “very attacked.” The conversation ended with host Vanessa Lachey saying they needed to talk after the reunion, but both seemingly had no interest in doing so.
Why Didn’t Tyler Tell Ashley About Being a Sperm Donor, and What’s the Story There?

Tyler shocked viewers when he revealed to Ashley after they had moved in together that he was a sperm donor for three kids — with a woman he knows in real life. While Ashley demanded paperwork and information at the time, LiB never revisited the story line and the couple ultimately said “I do.” Although seeing them have their happily ever after is nice, it left Us hoping for more information about the situation during the reunion.
When asked at the reunion about what what went down during the season — and the subsequent rumors circulating regarding Tyler’s relationship with the woman he donated sperm to — Tyler and Ashley both offered insight.
“Those kids, that family, they did not sign up for this,” Tyler explained, noting that the kids’ “birth certificates” are now beginning to circulate online. “So to get into the story, I did help a friend and her wife start a family. But her wife left her high and dry. This was my very close friend. So I voluntarily stepped in helped. So there is pictures of me around. I’ve spent holidays with all my friends and all their kids.”
He continued, “I played a part that became very shaky with a friend and there’s no rulebooks to this, no set lines to this, but Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world, this has never been news to us. And I’m giving this explanation now because I feel like the world is waiting for it, but i don’t feel like I owe anyone and explanation but my wife. I’m good. We’re good.”
Ashley, meanwhile, insisted she wasn’t “blindsided” by the news and that insinuating so was “insulting my intelligence.”
“Secondly, this is something he never wanted to share,” she said of their on screen confrontation. “I just didn’t feel like it would be an authentic experience or I could continue the experience if we didn’t, because I know me and I cannot hide my facial expressions.”
As for the haters, Tyler said, “This is till death to us part.”
What Did Garrett Say to His Ex-Girlfriend in the Message to Make Taylor So Upset?

Throughout season 7, Taylor and Garrett were basically the only couple to walk down the aisle with little question they’d go through with their wedding. Their one major argument, however, came during the Bachelor/Bachelorette party where it was revealed that Garrett had messaged an ex-girlfriend. While Taylor eventually discovered more was said between the exes than she initially thought, the show left out any details about the conversation.
The pair’s argument was not discussed during the reunion.
Why Did Nick Let Hannah Talk Down to Him So Much?

This is a question even Hannah wants to know. When speaking exclusively to Us earlier this month, Hannah shared that one thing she’d like to ask her ex-fiancée is why he let her “treat him like that.” Viewers will know that Hannah often questioned Nick’s ability to take care of her and himself, and claimed she was the reason he went “from a boy into a man.” Nick took it on the chill all season, which has Us wondering … why?
While no one directly asked Nick at the reunion why he was OK with the way Hannah spoke to him, he ultimately said it was “fine” and that they simply had a different perspective on the situation.
While it seemed like the duo were going to get out of the reunion unscathed, things took a turn when Nick tried to stand up for Hannah and say she was getting “too much hate online.” Hannah then questioned why he was “liking” the hate comments if he felt that way, before revealing that she found a note from before filming that revealed three of Nick’s goals: get in great shape, sell two homes and be “the most famous person on Love Is Blind.”
Nick explained that he started to write “90-day goals” after his friend suggested it and the one Hannah found his first now ever. He claimed that he wrote the “famous” goal months before going onto the show, and it was ultimately “meaningless” to him.
Hannah, however, was not buying it. “I just think is a very calculated person,” she said, claiming that Nick called her a “grenade” behind her back but praised her on camera. “So I think my frustration was just, like, ‘What the f— is going on?'”
Marissa, Monica and Alex backed up Hannah’s claims, saying the men confirmed to them that Nick made fun of Hannah’s looks. When Stephen was asked about if the rumors were true, Stephen said, “Yes.” Ramses added: “Let’s keep it 100, man. Things were said.”
While Nick continued to deny using the term “grenade,” he admitted that he was “underwhelmed” with how Hannah looked after the post-engagement reveal.
