The Los Angeles Dodgers shocked the baseball world in January 2026, not by just signing Kyle Tucker, but by giving him a mammoth four-year contract worth $240 million.

It had been a whirlwind offseason for the former Chicago Cubs right fielder, having announced just after the World Series that he and his wife, Samantha Tucker, were expecting their first baby together.

Samatha will now accompany Kyle to a third Big League city after he first broke in with the Houston Astros in 2018.

The two have been together since before he ever saw a pitch in the Majors. After first meeting at Plant High School in Tampa, Florida, the pair graduated in 2015 and began dating two years later, while Tucker was in Houston’s minor league system and Samantha was a student at Florida State University.
