Bravo made the decision to put The Real Housewives of Dubai on pause in November 2024 following the conclusion of its second season.
The international spinoff of the Real Housewives franchise premiered on Bravo on June 1, 2022, featuring former Ladies of London cast member Caroline Stanbury, model Chanel Ayan and more.
The show received mixed reviews, with much of the criticism centering around whether The Real Housewives of Dubai was truly representative of life in the United Arab Emirates, where there have been criticisms of human rights abuses and same-sex relationships can be criminalized.
RHODubai ultimately failed to catch on with Bravo fans in the way that the network hoped for, and the series was officially put on the shelf following the conclusion of its season 2 reunion in late 2024.
But is there a chance for The Real Housewives of Dubai to return? Keep scrolling to find out the latest.
Who Starred on ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’?
The Real Housewives of Dubai was anchored by businesswoman Caroline Stanbury, who was familiar to Bravo viewers for appearing on Ladies of London from 2014 and 2017.
Model Chanel Ayan has worked on campaigns for top fashion brands such as Chanel, Tiffany & Co. and Cartier, in addition to founding her own cosmetic brands Ayan Beauty and Ayan Skin. Ayan became a firm favorite among RHODubai viewers for her tongue-in-cheek one-liners and over-the-top fashion.

Other main cast members for both seasons included real estate director Caroline Brooks, entrepreneur Sara Al Madani and fashion designer Lesa Milan. Model and influencer Nina Ali was part of the main cast for season 1 and guest starred in season 2.
The second season of RHODubai added singer and fitness expert Taleen Marie Khanoyan to the main cast, with venture capitalist Saba Yussouf joining as a “Friend of the Housewives.” The Bravo series also featured guest appearances from multiple Housewives from other franchises, including Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Dawn Ward of The Real Housewives of Cheshire (which is not officially affiliated with Bravo’s franchise).
Will ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’ Return?
As of January 2026, Bravo has no plans for The Real Housewives of Dubai to return.
Luxury Handbag Shopping reported in November 2024 that the reality series was officially put on “pause” by Bravo after the conclusion of its second season.
“The cast was told [about the pause] a couple days ago,” a source exclusively told Us on November 7, 2024.
It is not totally inconceivable that The Real Housewives of Dubai could come back in the future. For example, The Real Housewives of Miami was paused for eight years before returning for its fourth season in December 2021.
What Have the Cast of ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’ Said About the Show Ending?
Caroline Brooks reiterated Luxury Handbag Shopping’s reporting in January 2025 by revealing that Bravo had no plans to resume shooting The Real Housewives of Dubai at any point in the near future.
“We were told [on a group FaceTime call], ‘You guys are not being picked up for a third season, I’m really sorry because I feel like you deserved one. Thank you so much for two great seasons, ladies. Wish you all the best of luck,’” she tweeted.
She added, “Some of us graciously thanked them all for the opportunity, while others stayed silent in disbelief. The delusion is real — some think the show will return, but it was clearly stated: this was our last season.”
Brooks subsequently denied that strict laws in Dubai impacted the cancellation of the Real Housewives franchise, before conceding that she did not enjoy filming the show.
“Honestly, I’m not upset that the show was cancelled or paused — whatever term you prefer,” she wrote. “It felt toxic, overly orchestrated, and many were hiding their true identities. Housewives should be authentic, not forced. I’m grateful for the opportunity, but not the experience.”
During a February 2025 appearance on Vicki Gunvalson’s “My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast,” Caroline Stanbury admitted that you “never really know” about your future in the Housewives universe.
“Everyone always tells you, ‘Don’t rely on Housewives,’ and so I think that’s really important. It’s something I learned from [Ladies of London]. It can be taken, it can go at any time,” she acknowledged. “I don’t think a lot of people saw us being paused, which, we’re ‘paused,’ not ‘cancelled.’”
Since then, Stanbury joined the cast of The Traitors season 4, alongside fellow former Housewives Lisa Rinna, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Dorinda Medley, as well as current Real Housewives of Atlanta peach-holder Porsha Williams. (Chanel Ayan was previously on The Traitors season3.)
In January 2026, Ayan offered an update on where she stands with some of her fellow Dubai Housewives now that cameras are no longer rolling.
She revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she recently went to dinner with Lesa Milan to squash their season 2 beef but said that they’d since fallen out again over a risque picture being posted on social media.
“I don’t know what happened. Other than that, I have so much love for her and her kids,” Ayan claimed. “You know when you send your friend a picture and you look like s*** and they post it? I was in tears!”
On a more positive note, Ayan shared that Brooks and Taleen Marie Khanoyan “repaired their friendship” after a falling out in season 2.
“All the girls are doing wonderful,” Ayan declared.
