The 2026 Super Bowl halftime show has become a lightning rod in America’s ongoing culture war.
The conservative activist group Turning Point USA is jumping feet first into the fray by running its own alternative halftime show, which will be called the All-American Halftime Show.
It’s not the first time in Super Bowl history that someone has put on an alternate halftime show, but it is the first along partisan lines.

When Time Is the 2026 Super Bowl Turning Point USA Halftime Show?
It’s difficult to put an exact time on it, since the starting point will be determined by the end of the first half of the 2026 Super Bowl. If the big game starts at 3:30 p.m. PST/6:30 p.m. EST, then the halftime show could begin around 5:00 p.m. PST/8:00 p.m. EST. But there is no set time beyond this estimate.c
How to Watch the 2026 Super Bowl Turning Point USA Halftime Show
Turning Point USA will live-stream its All-American Halftime Show on the outlet’s YouTube and Rumble accounts. The conservative outlet is also sharing the event with select partners, including Daily Wire+, Real America’s Voice, TBN, CHARGE!, The National News Desk, NTD.com and OAN News.
Originally the show was set to be streamed on X as well. However, hours before the performance, Turning Point USA announced a major change.
“UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X,” the organization wrote. “Head on over to our YouTube channel tonight around 8PM ET to watch the full show.”

Kid Rock is the headlining act for the All-American Halftime Show. He will be joined by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
Why Is Turning Point Hosting a Halftime Show?
Turning Point is hosting an alternative show because the NFL selected Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny to be the headlining act of the 2026 Super Bowl’s halftime show. Bad Bunny is one of the best-selling musicians in the world and extremely popular among Latino fans. He is also very outspoken against ICE, and his plans to perform his entire set in Spanish have faced pushback from some conservative activists who claim that Bad Bunny doesn’t love America enough to have the honor of that spotlight. Some have even questioned Bad Bunny’s citizenship, which overlooks the fact that he is an American citizen because Puerto Rico is an American territory.
How Does Turning Point Describe Its Halftime Show?
According to the organization’s site, it will be “a unique, patriotic event proudly celebrating American culture, freedom, and faith … The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom … We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game.”
How Long Will the Turning Point USA Halftime Show Be?
Theoretically, Turning Point’s halftime show doesn’t have to follow the same time frame that the NFL will use for its show. Super Bowl halftime performances typically take 45 minutes to an hour. With multiple performers lined up by Turning Point, it may be tricky to give all of them time to perform in such a small amount of time. That said, the vast majority of viewers will return to the Super Bowl when the third quarter resumes.
