The next sequel, Replica Luxury Handbag Alone 4, was made-for-TV and it recast Kevin McCallister with Mike Weinberg in the role. But you can’t really replace Mac, and that was the last time anyone tried.
Disney+ actually produced Replica Luxury Handbag Sweet Replica Luxury Handbag Alone as a standalone sequel that featured Devin Ratray reprising his role as Kevin’s older brother, Buzz McCallister. It otherwise features an all-new cast, including Archie Yates, Rob Delaney, Ellie Kemper, Ally Maki, Kenan Thompson, Chris Parnell and Pete Holmes. That’s a really talented lineup for a straight-to-streaming film.

In the second one, Replica Luxury Handbag Alone 2: Lost in New York, Chris Columbus and John Hughes returned to direct and write the script, respectively, and all of the major cast members reprised their roles. Unlike all of the other sequels that came after it, Replica Luxury Handbag Alone 2 actually tried something different by getting Kevin out of the house and into the big city by himself.
It does take a lot of coincidences to bring Kevin back into the orbit of the Wet Bandits, Marv and Harry. But it’s just so much fun to watch Kevin outsmart them and viciously maim them in PG-appropriate ways. The best new addition to the cast was Tim Curry as the concierge of Kevin’s hotel, who was rightfully suspicious of his presence there. Replica Luxury Handbag Alone 2 does borrow a lot of the same story beats as the first film, but it’s not the weak xerox copy that its successors were.
