More than two years later, Summer House viewers experienced similar feelings of “What is happening?!” when Amanda Batula confirmed her relationship with costar Ciara Miller’s ex West Wilson.
In a matter of hours, cast members were unfollowing each other, fans were picking sides and excitement was building for a must-see reunion show.

Scandoval’s Betrayal Within the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast
When news broke that Tom Sandoval was having an affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, fans couldn’t believe how both parties betrayed Ariana Madix.
“I love [Raquel] so much, and we’ve spent so much time together on trips and we really have this really beautiful little friendship family,” Ariana shared in a Vanderpump Rules scene filmed in August 2022. “[The cast] saying stuff like, ‘I wouldn’t trust Raquel around my man.’ I’m like, ‘We’ve all stayed in houses together. It sucks that maybe you guys don’t have that friendship family that we’ve had the past few years with each other.’”
Raquel would later downplay her friendship with Ariana, telling Bethenny Frankel in August 2023, “Ariana and I were not best friends. We were acquaintances who became friends through the show. She’s always been somebody who’s been very sweet to me. She would stand up for me and encourage me to pursue whatever I was, I don’t know … pursuing. And that was all great — but we never had, like, a deep conversation that I would have with a best friend.”
The cast and viewers, however, didn’t buy it.

When Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their romance in March 2026, Summer House viewers couldn’t help but point out the history the pair have shared with their cast.
For starters, Amanda was close friends with Ciara Miller, who previously dated West.
A source told Us in March 2026 that West and Ciara were “casually seeing each other and seeing if things would work out again” before the Amanda bombshell dropped.
As for West, he had a close bromance with Kyle Cooke, who split from Amanda in January 2026 after four years of marriage. Unlike Scandoval, however, there is no confirmation of any cheating at this time.
“It’s not going to happen. I’m not touching any of my cast members,” Amanda previously said during a March 2026 episode of Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast. “Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
How Was ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Changed by Scandoval?
After Scandoval broke, the cast all came together in March 2023 for a three-part reunion show. While Rachel “Raquel” Leviss left the show for good after the ordeal, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix agreed to participate in another season.
Ariana, however, tried her best to avoid any contact with her ex while cameras were up.
After season 11 came to a close in October 2024, Bravo announced that it would be rebooting Vanderpump Rules with a brand-new cast.
How Will ‘Summer House’ Be Changed by Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s New Relationship?
When news broke in March 2026 that Amanda Batula and West Wilson were dating, season 10 of Summer House was airing on Bravo.
A reunion special is expected to be taped in the coming weeks, with the cast sitting down together to discuss everything that went down in the season.
Away from Summer House, Bravo previously confirmed in November 2025 that Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula and Lindsay Hubbard would be part of a spinoff titled In the City. Bravo said the remainder of the ensemble cast would be announced at a later date.
As of March 2026, it’s unclear whether filming has wrapped or if Ciara Miller and West Wilson are part of the project.
