Hearing Erin Andrews talk with Kylie Kelce about Taylor Swift is something we never knew we needed.
“I wanted to get to that tour so badly,” Andrews, 46, said during an appearance on “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce,” released on Thursday, January 16. “I appreciate the performing arts. I appreciate a show. I was so f—ing pumped to see the dancers, the lights, the costumes.”
The topic of Swift’s Eras Tour came up when Kylie, 32, claimed that Andrews was “mortified” by “Calm Down” podcast cohost Charissa Thompson’s dance moves at the show. (Andrews and Thompson attended a July 2024 Eras Tour date in London.)
“I was not mortified by those dance moves,” Andrews clarified, noting that she just “wanted to take [the concert] in.”
Kylie, along with her husband Jason Kelce and Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, were at this particular Eras Tour show as well.
“I do remember at one point you saying, like, ‘I’m focused.’ And I was like, ‘This is incredible,’” Kylie recalled during Thursday’s podcast episode. “I felt like you were studying and taking notes in a way of, like, I need to make sure that I can properly just digest this entire situation. And there was not a moment where I felt like you were not locked in.”
Andrews fully agreed with everything Kylie said.
“I can’t even imagine what it’s like being your brother-in-law because I feel like when everyone goes in there, they want to talk to him and he’s like, ‘Hey, I’m watching my girl,’” Andrews said, referring to Travis in the Eras Tour VIP tent.
Andrews, however, was being “psycho” and asking Kylie “specific questions” about certain parts of the tour.
“I remember you saying, ‘She’s about to go off here.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, I am ready. … I’ve been waiting for this,’” Andrews continued, noting that she was all in on the Swift lore ahead of the show.
“Kylie, we were washing our hands in the bathroom, and I screamed, ‘Oh no, we’re missing “Betty,”’” the Fox Sports commentator recalled. “I’m a loser.”
Andrews and Thompson have famously been wrapped up in Swift’s romance with Travis — even taking credit for the relationship.
During an August 2023 episode of “Calm Down,” the duo encouraged them to get together.
“Taylor, I don’t know what you’re doing in your life right now besides rocking the world [on The Eras Tour],” Andrews said at the time. “Please, try our friend Travis. He is fantastic.”
