Dorinda Medley is sharing her first impression of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast after meeting them at her home.
“Well, I have to say, the trailer dropped for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” Medley, 61, shared on the Monday, February 9, episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked. “I want to preface it by saying I had the pleasure of meeting some of them.”
While filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, Medley hosted a large group of Real Housewives stars at Bluestone Manor in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
Although Medley couldn’t spill too much tea, she appeared surprised by the behavior of some cast members.
“I got to have the pleasure of meeting them and I have to say,” she told cohost Kiki Monique. “I was thinking at the time, ‘My God, if these girls at Bluestone Manor — where you must exercise some decorum — are acting like this and they don’t even know me and they’re in my house, I can only imagine what the show’s gonna be like.’”
Medley continued, “At one point, one — I won’t say which one — was screaming, ‘I don’t f***ing get, f***ing get the f***’ I’m like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa.’”
If there was one word to describe the ladies from Rhode Island, Medley came up with “verbal.”
“These girls are not going to hold back a thing,” she explained of the cast that consists of Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi. “I said to Kyle Richards, ‘If they’re in this much tension now and the show hasn’t even dropped? They’re going to have to have security guards.’”

According to Bravo, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th is a special event series that will follow a group of Real Housewives as they make their way through some of the most memorable locations in the franchise’s history.
“Starting where it all began in Orange County and culminating in an epic East Coast grand finale, each stop will feature appearances by fan favorites from different cities to pay tribute to the past, embrace the present and look toward the many miles still ahead,” Bravo stated.
Andy Cohen previously confirmed that The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson, The Real Housewives of New York City’s Luann de Lesseps, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow and Richards will be part of the star-studded crew.
When asked why the Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast was present for some of the filming, Medley explained that the first season of their show will be out when Girls Trip is ready to air.
“We’re thinking of TV,” she added. “Don’t think of reality, think of TV world.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premieres on Bravo Thursday, April 2, at 9 p.m. ET. A premiere date for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th has yet to be announced.
