Christina Haack’s boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, may make an appearance — or two — on The Flip Off season 2.
“Luckily, I’m an executive producer, and if we see him, it won’t be anything that would actually affect our relationship because that would be a huge mistake on my part,” Haack, 42, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping of her beau’s possible cameo on the show, clarifying that Larocca is more likely to be supporting her from behind the scenes.
Haack — who has been dating Larocca, 52, since October 2024 — noted that communication is one of the most important parts of their relationship.
“Things come out, things pop off, things that aren’t true,” she shared with Us, while promoting her new champagne line, Clé Cachée. “It’s just making sure that we talk about it and not ignore it, and that there’s no fear in honesty. And I’m very, very vulnerable with him. … I just want to be honest.”
The Flip Off features Haack, her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, as they attempt to find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain. The HGTV series is currently filming their second season.
“I really, truly, don’t know what’s happening yet, because we are still in production … figuring out what’s what,” Haack said. “And I like the fact that I get surprised on the other side, and I don’t really know what’s happening. I just want to keep it real.”
Haack went on to share that she is still “TBD” on figuring out if some people may join her team for an episode, however, she’s certain she wants to do most of it on her own.
“That’s important. [Jeff Lewis] may make an appearance. We shall see,” she said, referring to the Bravo Flipping Out host.
Last season, viewers saw Haack become really close with Heather, 38 — which both of them didn’t really expect. (Haack was previously married to Tarek, 44, and the pair share kids Taylor and Brayden together. She also shares son Hudson with ex-husband Ant Anstead.)
“I would say that filming with [Heather] last season, that’s when our friendship really started,” Haack told Us. “I appreciate hard-working women. I surround myself with them, and I saw that in her, and she is so much fun to film with, and … she’s honest, she’s authentic. And so I think that’s really what kind of bonded us.”
Haack went on to say that both Heather and Tarek’s “support” has meant “so much” to her, especially when filming the show while navigating her split from Josh Hall in July 2024.
“I thank them, even as recent as yesterday, because that was a game changer for me to have their support,” she gushed.
While Hall was initially on the show with Heather and Tarek, he was removed after the former couple’s divorce.
“I feel like the only reason why I played down myself or how easy it is for me to be on camera is because if there’s someone over here who’s insecure that’s making your life harder … it just becomes a whole thing and it becomes exhausting,” she said. “I can be myself [now]. I can laugh with Tarek and Heather and no one’s gonna be mad at me. Like, I can have fun and not have to worry about things. I just get to be me.”
Although Haack is still busy filming and spending time with her boyfriend and kids, she is also busy creating her own champagne line called Clé Cachée.
“I’m a champagne girl, and I think once you try it, you’re going to appreciate it,” she said. “It’s from the Grand Cru region, which is the most prestigious region in all France. As far as grapes, it’s a Blake de Blanc. It is naturally sweet, so it has a very low dosage [of] sugar content, which is less than five grams for the whole bottle. So basically, one Starburst, OK? No hangover. … Super proud of it. Designed everything. Came up with the name. It means hidden key, which is all about … manifesting. It’s basically finding your hidden potential within and just celebrating.”
