Don’t cue the Southern Charm theme song just yet, because Cameran Eubanks is setting the record straight on rumors that she is leading a spinoff with Chelsea Meissner and Naomie Olindo.
“This keeps being sent to me so addressing it here,” Cameran, 42, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, February 9, alongside a headline that read: “There is a rumored Southern Charm spinoff in early development titled The Isles focusing on Cameran, Chelsea & Naomie alongside new ensemble cast in the suburbs of Charleston.”
Cameran laughed off the speculation, confirming the story is, “NOT TRUE 😂.”
In case fans missed her IG Story, Cameran also commented on BravoChatRoom’s initial Instagram post about the rumored TV show with the same statement. “Not true 😂,” she replied in the comments section.
Cameran’s to-the-point message prompted many fans to cry out in sadness as they hoped to see Cameran, Chelsea, 40, and Naomie, 33, back together on Bravo.
“DAMN CAM ONE CAN HOPE! hope you are well love ya girl,” BravoChatRoom replied in the Instagram comments after seeing Cameran’s denial.
Another fan teased in the comments section that “@camwimberly1 [is] crushing everyone’s dreams early this fine Monday 😭.”
A separate user wrote back, “Too bad I loved the 3 of you but those boys have to grow up😂,” seemingly referring to the current Southern Charm cast, which includes single guys Shep Rose, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Austen Kroll and Craig Conover.
“Would love if it was!” another person wrote back in the comments section. A fourth user confessed, “But we need it! Come on!!!”
As fans of Southern Charm know, Cameran was part of the original cast of the Bravo series when it premiered in 2014.
After six seasons, Cameran announced in May 2020 that she was exiting the show. The news came shortly after rumors surfaced that Cameran’s husband, Jason Wimberly, had been unfaithful.
Cameran denied the allegations in a statement at the time, saying, “You must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren’t worth a big paycheck.”
She shared via Instagram in May 2020 that seeing her spouse, whom she wed in 2014, being “falsely dragged into” reality TV drama “disgusts me.”
“He always supported me filming the show even though he wanted no part of the spotlight,” Cameran wrote of her husband, with whom she shares daughter Palmer. “I can’t get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV … and why I’m getting out of it now.”
Cameran concluded: “Please disregard any fabricated rumor. It’s a ploy to ratings and that’s it. Now I absolutely know I was smart to leave the party early. My gut has never failed me.”
Chelsea, who joined the cast during season 4, and Naomie, who began her reality TV journey during season 3, both walked away from the show in 2020 alongside Cameran.
Naomie — who was Craig’s girlfriend to start her stint on the series before their 2017 breakup — briefly returned to Southern Charm for season 8 in 2022.
Cameran, meanwhile, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in April 2022 that she would “do it again in a heartbeat” after having a “great time” on Southern Charm. However, she insisted “that chapter’s closed.”
Even without the show keeping them together, Cameran, Chelsea and Naomie have remained a close-knit trio.
Both Cameran and Naomie were on hand to celebrate Chelsea at her baby shower in August 2023. (Chelsea confirmed in October 2023 that she had welcomed her first baby earlier that year.)
The women have since gone on girls’ trips and continued to spend time together. After Naomie announced her engagement to Billy Haire in December 2025, Cameran and Chelsea celebrated with a night out.
“We are so happy for you and your new ring, I mean FIANCÉ!! We love you @naomie_olindo! @wchaire5,” Cameran wrote via Instagram in January, sharing a photo of her and Chelsea hugging the new bride.
Naomie replied in the comments section, “I love yall so much it hurts !!!!!!!”
