Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko played coy when asked for an update on where their relationship stands.
“We had so much fun on Dancing With the Stars together,” Nader, 27, told E! News following the DWTS season 33 finale on Tuesday, November 26.
“It was amazing to be back in the ballroom,” Savchenko, 41, added. “I love dancing with Brooks. We have so much fun in the ballroom, outside of the ballroom.”
The pair performed a steamy dance to “Reunited” by Peaches & Herb during Tuesday’s live show.
“It was amazing. It was such a great journey for us,” Savchenko added. “We danced together for five weeks. We got eliminated and we got back together for the finale.”
Us confirmed in September that Nader and Savchenko were “hooking up” during their time on DWTS. The former duo got matching tattoos before being eliminated from the dance competition and shortly thereafter, things between them came to an end. “Gleb ended things, but Brooks is continuing to live her best life,” a source told Us last month.
Their showmance has continued to raise eyebrows as both Nader and Savchenko have been going back and forth with cryptic videos on social media. DWTS fans were convinced earlier this month the duo had reconciled when they were both spotted at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
Savchenko, however, told Us exclusively that he and Nader were having “some creative meetings” about their finale routine. (The pair danced alongside fellow DWTS season 33 stars Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber on Tuesday.)
“We’re performing next week,” the professional dancer teased at the 11th annual American Reality Television Awards on November 18. “We’re getting together. We’ve had some Zoom calls and we talk about the choreography, talk about the costumes and the music and what we’re doing.”
When it came time for DWTS finale rehearsals, Nader and Savchenko wasted no time going viral once again. The show’s host Alfonso Ribeiro posted a video of Nader and Savchenko on Monday, November 25.
“Alright, everybody, this is driving me nuts,” Ribeiro, 53, said in an Instagram Story. “These people — these two! — they took us on a whirlwind. On social media. All this stuff, everything going on! And then all of a sudden, there they are.”
Fellow DWTS pro Emma Slater posted her own video of Nader straddling Savchenko as they engaged in a steamy makeout session.
“They have to do Dancing with the Stars TMZ. I think Emma has to host it,” Savchenko joked to E! News Tuesday. “They were all taking videos of us. It’s fine.”
