Kat Izzo and Dale Moss fell in love during Bachelor in Paradise season 10 after respective broken engagements within the franchise — but their romance didn’t last.
Kat was briefly engaged to John Henry Spurlock after meeting during BiP season 9, while Dale proposed to Clare Crawley after her season of The Bachelorette years earlier in 2020. (The pair later dated Zac Cooper and Galey Alix, respectively, before returning to the Bachelor Nation spinoff.)
Dale exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in June 2025 that he came into Bachelor in Paradise “wanting to be open” — and then he met Kat. While Dale and Kat were eliminated just shy of the finale, they continued dating after returning home from Costa Rica.
Us confirmed in November 2025 that Dale and Kat had parted ways.

Beach Bond
Kat quickly expressed interest in Dale, wasting no time in exchanging roses and asking him out on dates.
“There’s a physical connection between me and Dale, obviously,” Kat said in a confessional during the first episode. “He’s really hot. He’s such a gentleman, helped me with my shoes [and] helped me on the little boat. I feel like I’m gonna be ‘baby girl’d’ and we love a man who takes charge and has chivalry.”
A Love Square

While Kat was all-in on Dale, he kept his options open once new arrivals Alli Jo Hinkes and Allyshia Gupta expressed interest. Dale and Ally Jo even kissed during one of the compatibility challenges.
After Kat confronted Dale about playing the field, he proclaimed that he “deaded it” and let the other women know that the nurse practitioner was his top choice during the rose ceremony.
Secret Boyfriend Claims
As Bachelor in Paradise continued to unfold, Allysia claimed in August 2025 that Kat snuck in an iPad to communicate with a boyfriend back home. Kat denied the allegations.
“When it comes to being in a relationship, I did not come in with a boyfriend,” she said on the “Viall Files” podcast after the finale. “Was I dating before Paradise? Of course, I wasn’t going to stop my life, [and] I didn’t even know if I wanted to do the show. … I came into Paradise saying, ‘This is going to help me figure out what it is that I needed to do.’”
Kat asserted that she has “no ill will” toward her now-ex and maintains that she wasn’t trying to communicate with him during Paradise.
“I did not have an iPad during filming, I did not have a laptop,” she said. “I think if I had those devices or messages on my arms other than my tattoos … that would have been shown. I don’t think [producers] were afraid of that. So, no, there was no communication to the outside world through any device.”
‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Finale Drama

Ahead of the final day of Bachelor in Paradise, the eliminated couples returned to the beach to pick whether Dale and Kate or Spencer Conley and Jess Edwards would join Andrew Spencer and Alexe Godin in the running for the $500,000 prize.
Allyshia and then-boyfriend, Sean McLaughlin, tried to get the group to vote against Kat and Dale by repeating the iPad accusations. Kat ran off crying, while Dale calmly told the room that the claims were false.
Kat and Dale were ultimately eliminated, with both other couples taking home cash prizes. Spencer also proposed to Jess.
Back to Reality
After leaving Costa Rica together, Kat and Dale continued pursuing their relationship.
“No engagement talks or anything like that,” Dale said on “The Viall Files” in September 2025. “I think, like, you have the show and we built the foundation there. When we talk about after the show [ended] in June, it was still a deep exploration phase for both of us. We had many conversations, things that sprung up with both of us [and] weren’t created by the other partner. Now, moving forward, we’re just in a very, very strong place.”
The pair even revealed that they introduced one another to their families and pets.
“He has a relationship with my cat [now]. That’s my baby,” Kat said. “That matters a lot.”
September 2025
Kat and Dale celebrated the Bachelor in Paradise finale with a joint Instagram post.
“And we’re just getting started …🤍,” a caption read.
November 2025
Kat sparked split speculation on November 23 after leaving a cryptic message on Dale’s TikTok video.
“This is a reminder that things can change in a year, drastically,” Dale said in the video from Las Vegas. “I was thinking today about where I was at in life, in business, in health … at this time last year. I definitely wasn’t always in the best place. The difference a year can make: habits, routines, circles.”
He added, “Life is not always easy. Situations are not always perfect. But when you can reflect back and look at some of the tough times and how you got through them, it puts a lot in perspective. Nothing too deep. Just chopping it up. Stay the course.”
Kat commented on the video, “HAHAHAHAHAHA rich coming from you!” according to Bachelornation.scoop’s Instagram page. (The comment appears to have since been deleted.)
Two days later, Us confirmed that Kat and Dale split earlier that fall.
