What the hell?! There’s no way any of us will ever understand what happened on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, Nov. 3 — but whatever, or however, it happened, there’s no denying it’s television gold!
The TV show host pulled off what must be one of his most bizarre celebrity guest segments ever when he persuaded Alanis Morissette and Meghan Trainor into chicken costumes, live on the set of his late-night talk show. But the ridiculous became miraculous when he then persuaded the aforementioned chickens to cluck their way through Morissette’s classic hit “Ironic!”
Forming part of the Jagged Little Chicks band, the pop stars made fans’ dreams come true (even if they never even realized they had this dream!) when they clucked their way through the famous song lyrics, substituting words for pretty impressive chicken impressions.
And the bright yellow, fluffy singers even managed to harmonize the chorus, with an array of differently pitched chicken bawks.
