The end of the month is coming up fast, and that means Netflix will soon lose a handful of its best movies.

There’s a better than even chance that some of these films will eventually return to Netflix. But why wait?

To help you make your viewing plans, Watch With Us has selected the five best Netflix movies to watch before they leave at the end of January 2026.

A few classics, one starring Wicked‘s Michelle Yeoh, and one Oscar-winning movie are on this month’s list, which you can see below.

Unfortunately, Netflix isn’t hanging on to Groundhog Day through this year’s Groundhog Day on February 2. But this is a timeless film that can be enjoyed even when it’s out of season. The late Harold Ramis directed this flick, which stars his Ghostbusters colleague Bill Murray as a cynical TV weatherman, Phil Connors.

For reasons that the movie never explains, Phil is trapped in a time loop covering Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. At first, Phil revels in his ability to live a life without consequences or fear. But the story takes a more poignant turn as Phil endures an endless cycle that forces him to become a better man while fruitlessly attempting to romance his producer, Rita Hanson (Andie MacDowell).

Groundhog Day is streaming on Netflix until February 1.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon standout Zhang Ziyi headlined director Rob Marshall‘s adaptation of Arthur Golden’s best-selling novel, Memoirs of a Geisha. In the early 20th century, a young woman named Chiyo Sakamoto (Zhang) is sold into servitude by her father. Chiyo’s only way out is to earn her place as a Geisha.

As Chiyo grows up, she has her heart set on being with Chairman Ken Iwamura (Ken Watanabe), a man who was kind to her when she was young. But a Geisha’s fate is rarely one of her own choosing, and Chiyo’s rivals will do almost anything to prevent her from gaining the rewards that they believe should have been theirs alone.

Memoirs of a Geisha is streaming on Netflix until February 1.

Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan‘s action days were largely behind them when they made The Foreigner, but they still had enough in the tank for this thriller. Chan leads the cast as Quan Ngoc Minh, an immigrant living in London who is outraged when his lone surviving daughter is murdered during a new terror campaign by a group claiming to be the Authentic IRA.

Brosnan plays Liam Hennessy, a politician who was once closely linked to the IRA and still maintains some ties to its splinter groups. Since Quan doesn’t know who murdered his daughter, he embarks on a pressure campaign to force Liam to reveal what he knows about who is responsible. Liam may not be personally behind the reign of terror, but it leads right back to his doorstep, and that puts him at odds with Quan’s mission of vengeance. Things are going to get messy before the end.

The Foreigner is streaming on Netflix until February 1.

Parasite was the first South Korean film to take home Best Picture at the Oscars, while also landing Bong Joon Ho the Academy Award for Best Director. The film follows Kim Ki-taek (Song Kang-ho) and his wife, Chung-sook (Jang Hye-jin), as well as their two children, Kim Ki-woo (Choi Woo-shik) and Kim Ki-jung (Park So-dam).

The entire Kim family is financially struggling, at least until Ki-woo finds a job with the wealthy Park Dong-ik (Lee Sun-kyun) and Choi Yeon-gyo (Cho Yeo-jeong), and their children. Ki-woo helps the rest of his family fake their identities and earn jobs with the Park family. This gives the Kim family a taste of the good life, and they’ll go pretty far to protect their secret to make sure it can be theirs for as long as possible.

Parasite is streaming on Netflix until February 1.

James Cameron has described The Terminator as his first movie in part because of behind-the-scenes drama with his actual debut, Piranha II: The Spawning. Regardless of whatever happened on that Roger Corman-produced flick, Cameron made a name for himself with The Terminator, which is still exciting to watch over four decades since its debut in theaters.

It’s almost unthinkable for Arnold Schwarzenegger to play a villain now, but he was absolutely terrifying as the T-800 model Terminator, a machine sent back from the future to murder Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) before she can give birth to the man who will lead humanity to victory.  To preserve the timeline and protect Sarah, Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) follows the Terminator back to 1984. But this machine won’t stop until Sarah is dead, and humanity won’t have a future if it succeeds.

The Terminator is streaming on Netflix until February 1.
