The middle of February is giving Peacock a chance to flex its streaming feathers with a great lineup of movies.

Strangely enough, one of the new arrivals is Air, a film that was produced by Amazon to be a Prime Video original before it went to theaters.

Putting a Prime Video movie on Peacock is just two steps below mass hysteria, but we’re willing to go with it.

You can find that film and the rest of Watch With Us‘ picks for the three best Peacock movies to binge-watch this Valentine’s Day weekend in the roundup below.

‘Air’ (2023)

If you’ve ever heard of Air Jordan shoes, then you can probably guess how Air is going to end. Despite that sense of inevitability, director Ben Affleck gives this sports story some life and costars as Phil Knight, the cofounder of Nike. In 1984, Nike’s basketball shoe division was considered a failure, and the company only had a few limited options to turn things around.

Talent scout Sonny Vaccaro (Matt Damon) is the first to realize that the recently drafted Michael Jordan is going to be a generational talent in the NBA. The problem is that Vaccaro isn’t the only one who sees Jordan’s potential, and there’s a race among the shoe companies to sign him. Jordan’s mother, Deloris Jordan (Viola Davis), has a lot of say in which company her son is going to sign with. And she’s not going to let any of these companies offer her son anything less than top dollar.

Air is streaming on Peacock.

‘Jackie Brown’ (1997)

Jackie Brown is one of Quentin Tarantino‘s most underrated films, largely because it came between Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. Regardless, his adaptation of Elmore Leonard‘s Ram Punch is terrific and a great comeback vehicle for Pam Grier in the title role as Jackie Brown.

Jackie is a stewardess who smuggles money and drugs into the country for a dangerous man, Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson). When Jackie is caught by ATF Agent Ray Nicolette (Michael Keaton) and LAPD Detective Mark Dargus (Michael Bowen), she knows it’s likely that Ordell will kill her. That’s why she forms her own plan with bail bondsman Max Cherry (Robert Forester) to con everyone. That’s going to be hard since all eyes will be on Jackie, and Ordell has a tendency to murder anyone he suspects of treachery.

‘I Love You, Man’ (2009)

It’s hard to make new friends as an adult, which is one of the reasons why the premise of I Love You, Man still resonates. Paul Rudd plays Peter Klaven, the lucky man who has won the heart of Zooey Rice (Rashida  Jones). But when it comes time to marry Zooey, Peter realizes that he doesn’t have any close male friends to be his best man, and he has no idea how to befriend someone new.

That’s when Peter encounters Sydney Fife (Jason Segel), a lonely guy who is happy to be Peter’s new best friend. Sydney is also a little sketchy and quickly manages to alienate Zooey. There’s a real bromance brewing between Peter and Sydney, but if the former isn’t careful, his new friend might drive a wedge between him and Zooey.
