If you’re one of the unlucky few who have yet to see Project Hail Mary, you should run, not walk, to the nearest movie theater and see it this weekend — it’s good!

But if you have seen it, or just want to stay in and stream a good film, Watch With Us has you covered.

Prime Video has some of the best movies around, especially since the streamer just added one of 2025’s most under-the-radar comedies, Roofman, to its library.

Other great flicks to watch this weekend include the Nicolas Cage WWII epic Windtalkers and the Oscar-winning Tom Cruise drama, Rain Man.

‘Roofman’ (2025)

Leigh Wainscott (Kirsten Dunst) is a single mother who isn’t really looking for love — or even a meaningless hookup — but she reconsiders her solitary single life after she meets Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum) at the local Toys “R” Us where she works. He’s handsome and charming, but unbeknownst to Leigh, he’s also a fugitive from the law. It’s only a matter of time before she — and everyone else — discovers Jeffrey’s secret, but is it already too late for the increasingly smitten Leigh to ditch him?

One of 2025’s most underrated movies, Roofman is an irresistibly charming romance with an oddball sense of humor. Supported by an outstanding cast that includes Peter Dinklage and LaKeith Stanfield, Tatum and Dunst give some of the most charismatic performances of their careers as an unlikely couple who have been broken by past failed relationships. Roofman’s strange premise might seem too far-fetched to believe, but it’s actually based on a real-life story — with some embellishments here and there.

Roofman is streaming on Prime Video.

‘Windtalkers’ (2002)

During World War II, battle veteran U.S. Marine Joe Enders (Nicolas Cage) is assigned to protect two Navajo code talkers, Ben Yahzee (Adam Beach) and Charlie Whitehorse (Roger Willie), who send and receive coded messages vital to winning the war. If Joe senses they are about to be captured by the enemy, he is ordered to kill the code talkers so their secrets won’t fall into the wrong hands. But as the conflict intensifies, Joe grows closer to Ben and questions if he can kill one of his own for the greater good.

Directed by John Woo, Windtalkers has some terrific battle sequences, which isn’t a surprise given the director’s previous action masterpieces like Hard Boiled and Face/Off. While it doesn’t avoid the usual clichés that plague the war movie genre, Windtalkers is different enough to stand out. I’ve never seen a World War II film from a Native American perspective before, and Ben’s story breathes new life into a well-told event.

Windtalkers is streaming on Prime Video.

‘Rain Man’ (1988)

When Charlie (Tom Cruise) learns his estranged father has died, he’s more upset that he won’t inherit the bulk of his dad’s $3 million estate. That was left to Raymond (Dustin Hoffman), an older brother Charlie didn’t know existed until their father passed away. Determined to get what he believes he is owed, Charlie agrees to drive Raymond across the country in an attempt to forge a nefarious bond. That proves to be difficult, as Raymond is autistic and Charlie isn’t the most patient of people. Will these two strangers eventually bond as unlikely brothers?

Winner of four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Hoffman, Rain Man takes a tired concept — the buddy comedy road movie — and gives it an entertaining polish. Hoffman is impressive as the savant-like Raymond, who can recall the exact number of toothpicks that randomly fall on the ground but can’t drive on the road if it’s raining outside. Even better is Cruise, who effectively captures Charlie’s subtle transformation from an arrogant con artist to an increasingly empathetic person who grows to care for his brother.

Rain Man is streaming on Prime Video.
