Las nominaciones para los Premios Primetime Emmy 2025 se anunciaron el martes 15 de julio.
El actor de What We Do in the Shadows Harvey Guillén, la estrella de Running Point Brenda Song y el presidente de la Academia de Televisión Cris Abrego revelaron la lista de nominados en vivo desde el Teatro Wolf en el Saban Media Center de la Academia de Televisión previa a la 77ª ceremonia anual, que se celebrará el 14 de septiembre. (Los fans también pudieron ver el anuncio por streaming a través del sitio web de los Emmy).
En un momento inesperado, los nominados en dos categorías también fueron anunciados antes de lo previsto durante la edición del martes de CBS Mornings.
Nate Bargatze será el anfitrión de los Emmy por primera vez este año, según anunció la Academia de Televisión en abril. (La ceremonia tendrá lugar en el Teatro Peacock de Los Ángeles).
“Es un gran honor que me hayan pedido presentar una gala de premios tan icónica y estoy más que emocionado de trabajar con CBS para crear una noche que puedan disfrutar familias de todo el mundo”, dijo el comediante, de 46 años, en un comunicado en ese momento.
“Nate es uno de los comediantes más populares del momento, con un humor sobresaliente y divertidísimo que conecta profundamente con audiencias multigeneracionales en todo el planeta”, añadió Abrego. “Nos entusiasma poder aprovechar su visión única para entretener a los fanáticos de la televisión que seguirán la emisión de los Emmy de este año”.
El dúo padre e hijo Eugene Levy y Dan Levy copresentaron la ceremonia de 2024. En esa edición, Shōgun arrasó en las categorías de drama, Baby Reindeer fue un gran ganador en las categorías de miniserie y The Bear y Hacks lograron estatuillas en comedia.
