She’s covered fashion shows, worked for major media outlets, and seen firsthand what it takes to create a platform from within. Now Tina Win is building one of her own. The Romanian-American artist dropped her first single “Try Anything” on July 23, making her entry into the music sphere with more than a song, a full strategy.

The song, written by Joey Auch, tightropes between strength and control. It’s well-crafted, catchy, and built on substance, not gimmicks. The song is an anchor for a larger creation: Tina’s new EP, dropping this September, as well as her first release on her own label, Tina Win Music LLC.
She’s releasing not only songs, though. She’s considering the entire package: sound, visual, stage presence, as a founder would. She owns her copyrights. She’s in charge of her rollout. And she’s considering her music as an ongoing body of work with short-term commercial value as well as long-term value.

On July 24, she performed live on stage at CHOWK NYC for a two-song appearance among specially invited guests and media. It was her first live stage appearance with her new approach: intimate, concise, with a focus on presenting her sound without unnecessary spectacle.
Tina teamed with celebrity photographer Andres Hernandez to create a new visual look. The shoot is characteristic of her current phase: high, chic, and in line with the mood of the music. Images will be utilized with press articles, sync pitches, as well as upcoming campaign collateral.
Now that “Try Anything” is available everywhere, Tina Win isn’t going after industry attention she’s forging her own piece of it, step-by-step, decision-by-decision. Through her sound, her strategy, her past, she’s proving that jumping into the thick of music doesn’t need to be about starting over. Sometimes, it’s as simple as learning to manage what you’ve got.
