The star loves her tanned skin so much that she recently launched her own line of self-tanner and even served as the glowing guinea pig for different formulas of her Sevin Nyne product. Still, the out-of-work actress has gone so far as to use the services of mobile spray tanner Fake Bake several times this year.
At least this too-tan star (here, at Calle Ocho in Miami on March 15) enlists her family to help protect her from the sun's rays. In April 2008, her dad Hulk was photographed applying lotion to her butt and thighs. "I know I'm a grown woman, but it's like he's touching an old car," she told Us. "He used to change my diaper!"
The heiress has taken her quest for the sun-kissed look a bit too far. Over the years, the star (here, at a Grammy party in Beverly Hills on Feb. 7) has paid plenty of visits to Sunset Tan -- most likely to correct the crazy tan lines she gets from her wild bikinis and over-the-top beachwear.
The 90210 star admitted her tanning faux pas when she showed up with noticeably bright eyes to Bar Deluxe in L.A. on Feb. 26. "Don't ever go out the day you do a spray tan," she said. "I look like a raccoon, and anyone who wants to diss them is more than welcome to. It was very embarrassing."

The Live with Regis and Kelly host (here, with her husband Mark Consuelos at a Hamptons magazine party in NYC on Sept. 10, 2007) is addicted to tan skin but promises to stop before she looks too leathery. "I'll quit tanning when the satchel handle grows out of my back," she has said.
The star (here, with tan lines at the Women in Film Awards in L.A. on June 5, 2006) was one of the first celebrities to admit to using spray tan. In fact, Starr Hamson, who started airbrush tanning with Fantasy Tan in 1997, has publicly thanked Lopez for embracing the trend. "She made it not just acceptable, but fashionable," she said.
