In "There's No Place Like Replica Luxury Handbagcoming," Emily and Toby (the latter rocking a haircut Bieber would have been proud of) attended the school dance together, despite the fact that the sporty beauty's best friends believed that they guy was a total creeper. (He's been vetted since.)

This episode, titled "Never Letting Go," had the Liars participating in a fashion show that was meant to memorialize Ali at the end—only to have her face, projected on the screen behind them, go up in digital flames. "We love to leave our audiences with dropped jaws whenever possible," producer I. Marlene King told Us. "The shocking ride is a large part of the fun, and our fans love surprises."

Smooch! This snap is all the way back from an episode in the series' second season called "Picture This," when Aria decided to investigate Alison's brother Jason's extended absence with an, er, practical examination.

"To be honest, each of these girls are who I wanted to be in high school, but I didn't have the means and wasn't allowed to dress this why," said costume designer Mandi Line, who crafted each Liar's costume. In "This Is a Dark Ride," Aria dressed as a flapper, Hanna went as Marilyn Monroe, Spencer glammed up as a film noir star, and Emily worked it as Barbarella.

Here's Mona in "A Is for Answers," just casually hanging out in her lair, plotting her revenge against the girls. Of course, the true focal point of this episode was the flashback that revealed some of the details surrounding the night Alison went missing—including the fact that Ali's mom, Mrs. D, seemed to recognize "A."

This one's also from "A Is for Answers." Take a good look at Mrs. D's face in this photo, 'cause she buried her daughter alive a minute later. "I remember this moment so vividly," King hared with Luxury Handbag Shopping. "I had just told [actress] Andrea [Parker] the real story of who she saw hitting Alison." King described the expression on the actress' face as "a fond, I love my daughter look—that's about to turn into the gasp of a horrified mother."

Feast your eyes on "A!" Snapped inside Hanna's house during "Scream for Me," "A" was all dressed up in the scoundrel's trademark uniform: a black hoodie, black pants, and black leather gloves. Oh, and a knife. (Gulp!) It was our first look at the villain’s face—even if it was painted black.
