OnlyFans star Lily Phillips is reconnecting with her religion after deciding to be rebaptized.

“I think for a while I’d kind of deviated from religion, and I think I was kind of in denial for a lot of it,” Phillips, 24, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping on Tuesday, December 30, two days after the event. “Quite a big thing happened more in my personal life, where I kind of felt the need to start speaking to God again. I hadn’t really practiced faith for a while. I just wanted to get rebaptized to kind of reinstate my relationship with God.”

Phillips — who famously slept with 1,113 men in 12 hours — explained that she faced a “little bit of a hardship” in her personal life, which led her to “look to God for help in that” and “give [her] more strength in that.”

Her decision to be rebaptized was embraced by her friends and family. “They were more than happy. Obviously, my family’s always been religious. I mean, they don’t practice that much or anything like that. But obviously they were more than happy for me to do it,” she explained, noting that she has a “close family member” who is a vicar. “We were always quite close to God growing up and stuff like that. They were delighted.”

Inside the industry, Phillips has yet to connect with fellow creators who have shared a similar experience with their Christianity — but she hopes to do so in the future.

“I definitely need to do that because I think that there are a lot of Christian girls who are in this industry,” she said, “but people might not know it and they might not feel comfortable talking about it because of the judgment.”

Phillips, meanwhile, “can understand people maybe not thinking” that she’s a “good Christian.”

“That’s totally fine,” Phillips said. “That’s their opinion. I’m definitely not claiming to be a traditional Christian at all. Obviously, I’m not against gay marriage. I am also pro-choice. So I definitely don’t have, necessarily, traditional values. But that doesn’t mean to say that I can’t be Christian. I would just hope that the Christian community welcomes me, because I guess everyone’s relationship with God is bespoke to them.”

As she begins to ring in the New Year, Phillips explained that she wants to make her religion “more of a priority” in her life.

“I could definitely neglect it a lot,” she admitted. “I think as well I’m going to take more of a back seat in work and stuff like that to just really prioritize this. Even though I travel so much — and this is my issue — I don’t necessarily go to church a lot because I’m traveling. But it doesn’t mean to say I can’t pray and I can’t practice my religion outside of church, so I’d definitely be doing that and taking that forward.”

While Phillips has “never been ashamed” of her job, she envisions a year where she expands her career into other areas.

“I definitely want to diversify what I do. I’d love to do some more TV work,” she said. “I’d love to do some presenting, which would be so fun. I would love to do more YouTube maybe, like show some more of my personality.”

Through it all, Phillips wants to be cognizant of her “general well-being” and ensure that she’s “happy” — while also being present with her loved ones.

“[I want to make] sure to, kind of, water my family relationship,” she said. “I didn’t really see them much last year, just because it was like traveling so much. I want to prioritize them and, like, my friends and stuff like that.”
