Quinton Aaron’s wife, Margarita Aaron, is asking for support after the Blind Side actor fell ill and was hospitalized.
Margarita began a GoFundMe campaign in January 2026, revealing her husband — who is most famous for portraying Michael Oher in the Sandra Bullock film — was “on life support due to a severe blood infection.”
“This has been sudden, frightening, and overwhelming for his loved ones. As he fights for his life, his family is facing an immense emotional and financial burden — including mounting medical-related expenses, ongoing living costs, and the uncertainty of how long this road to recovery may be,” the statement on the page continued.
After surpassing the $35,000 fundraising goal, Margarita shared an update on Quinton’s condition.
“Quinton has opened his eyes and has some feeling in his foot!” she wrote. “He is still on life support and going through tests. We are looking at quite a recovery time and will need a wheelchair when he is released while he goes through therapy to walk again. Thank you to all of you for your support and prayers.”

Who Is Margarita Aaron?
According to her Instagram bio, Margarita is a makeup artist. Additionally, her bio reveals she is a mom and a “proud Latina.” She is also a registered nurse. Margarita met Quinton through TikTok, per multiple reports.

Quinton first publicly referred to Margarita as his “wife” in a post shared via Instagram in December 2023 to celebrate Christmas.
“Merry Christmas everyone from my beautiful Wife @margaritaleta75 and I. Much Love and Peace and Blessings from our family to yours. #merrychristmas,” he captioned the snapshot, which featured Margarita kissing him on the cheek.
The comments section of the post was filled with congratulatory messages after revealing news of their nuptials.
“HAAAAAAAAT!!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!! MY BROTHER IS MARRIED!!!!! Congratulations!!! Bruce called it!! He said you know Quinton is gonna marry a Latina!” one person commented, while another wrote, “Congratulations!! So happy for you and wishing you a lifetime of happiness my friend! ❤️.”
In June the following year, Quinton shared a montage of photos with his wife via Instagram, writing, “I Thank God everyday for Mi Esposa (my wife) @margaritaleta75 😘😘😘.”
Quinton wished Margarita a happy birthday on the social media platform in November 2024.
“I was almost late slipping on my Pimpin, but I wanted to take some time out to give love to my Mrs. Margarita Leta,” he wrote. “It’s your birthday.God has showed out with you in the best way. It’s my pleasure to be your man I’m so grateful that I am. Love you mama!!! Happy Birthday.”
What Happened to Quinton Aaron?
On January 26, 2026, Margarita told TMZ that Quinton had been hospitalized after collapsing at his home and losing feeling in his legs. Days leading up to the incident, the All In actor had been feeling pain throughout his body.
At the hospital, doctors discovered Quinton had a blood infection and began performing tests to find the root of the issue. At the time, Margarita said Quentin was hooked up to machines but was partially breathing on his own and that the family was hopeful.
“He’s showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered,” Margarita told the outlet.
The following day, she shared another update with TMZ, saying, “He opened his eyes today and gave a thumbs up.”
Margarita opened up more about her husband’s condition on GoFundMe.
“Quinton has spent his life inspiring others, reminding us that compassion and humanity still matter in this world,” she wrote on the platform. “Now, as he faces one of the hardest battles of his life, let’s surround him and his loved ones with that same compassion, strength, and care.”
One week later, Quinton’s family told Luxury Handbag Shopping that they were planning to investigate Margarita. In a statement shared with Us on February 3, the Aaron family said, “Since the health crisis of our beloved family member Quinton Aaron, we have raised some suspicions about the legitimacy of Quinton and Margarita’s marriage to each other, as well as her legitimacy as a registered nurse. We have found some alarming details.”
The statement continued, “We as a family believe Margarita isn’t who she claimed to be to us. This has caused us to want to investigate her further.”
Quinton’s cousin Asia also exclusively told Us at the time that the family believes Margarita may be married to another man.
