Who Is Marshawn Kneeland’s Pregnant Girlfriend? Meet the Late Dallas Cowboys Star’s Partner Catalina

Dallas Cowboys star Marshawn Kneeland had the support of his girlfriend, Catalina Mancera, before his tragic death.

Mancera called the police on November 5, 2025, in an attempt to get Kneeland help before he ultimately died by suicide in the early morning hours on November 6.

“We’re talking to his girlfriend,” a 911 dispatcher said in audio obtained by TMZ Sports at the time. “She’s trying to call his agent. We’re trying to get her to call him first.”

Mancera told authorities that Kneeland had “a history of mental illness.”

Kneeland’s death was announced by the Cowboys on November 6, 2025. He was 24 years old.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” the team said in a statement. “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”

Marshawn Kneeland and Catalina Mancera Kept Their Relationship Relatively Private

Kneeland and Mancera largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, but she routinely left comments on his Instagram posts.

“That’s my mann 😍👏🏽,” Mancera wrote on a post from June that showed off pictures from Cowboys training camp.

Kneeland captioned the carousel of photos, “There is no shame in being weak. The shame is in staying weak.”

In May, Kneeland shared a series of photos of his late mother, Wendy, who died in February 2024.

Mancera commented, “Yk [you know] she’d be so proud of everything you’ve accomplished so far, bby ❤️❤️.”

Kneeland shared another series of pictures in January, showing off some highlights from his NFL rookie season.

“Mhmm my mans so fine 🤤❤️,” Mancera wrote.

Catalina Mancera Breaks Her Silence After Marshawn Kneeland’s Death

According to the Frisco Police Department, Kneeland died by suicide after he crashed his car during a police pursuit.

“I’m grieving hard right now,” Mancera told the Daily Mail several days later in November 2025. “It will be a long time before I’ll feel ready to talk at any length.”

At the time, Mancera also revealed that she was “still in the early stages” of planning a memorial.

“We are working on the funeral arrangements,” she told the outlet. “I don’t know where it’s going to be yet.”

During a November 12, 2025, press conference Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer revealed that the team launched a fundraising campaign in Kneeland’s honor to help support Mancera.

“I’d like to take a few moments and offer my condolences to Marshawn’s family, Catalina, his girlfriend,” Schottenheimer said, confirming that Mancera is pregnant. “We had an opportunity last night to celebrate Marshawn’s life, tell some stories. Share, laugh, cry. Marshawn loved the words ‘one love.’ So we talked a lot about love, as we grieve. I got a chance to share a couple of the things that I’ll miss the most about Marshawn.”

He added, “My heart is heavy, my team’s heart is heavy. We don’t move on, but we do move forward.”
