Stunt double needed! Tom Cruisewas in need of Ethan Hunt's help for real when he was nearly hit by a red double-decker bus in London recently. The actor was filming a scene for his upcoming sequel Mission: Impossible 5 during the scary close call.
Cruise, 52, was caught on camera trying to cut across traffic at the time, not noticing the large vehicle coming around the corner. Luckily, the bus driver honked and slightly swerved away from the star. Cruise took notice and leaped back onto the sidewalk.
