Taylor Swift stepped out in style in the Big Apple.
Swift, 36, was spotted in New York City on Wednesday, April 8, alongside friends Ashley Avignone and Jerrod Carmichael, according to photos obtained by TMZ and DeuxMoi. The pop star donned a black camisole with a white, silk maxiskirt, accessorizing her ensemble with a tangle of gold necklaces and her signature red lip.
For glam, Swift tied her trademark blonde tresses in a sleek updo.
Swift’s night out in New York comes amidst her continued wedding planning journey. Luxury Handbag Shopping confirmed earlier this month that Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce are set to tie the knot later this year in Rhode Island.
“They’re both involved and making decisions together,” a source exclusively told Us, adding that Swift and Kelce, 36, are “focused on actually enjoying the process” along the way.
According to the insider, the Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have “both been very laid back” about plans for their big day.
“They’ve made a conscious decision not to let it cause any tension between them,” the source added to Us.
Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023, getting engaged two years later in August 2025.
“I look at it constantly. It doesn’t feel, in any way, normal for me. I’m just sort of like, ‘Oh, man,’ but it’s more than that,” Swift said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October 2025, referring to her engagement ring. “He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met.”
She added at the time, “The fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever is just, like, that’s the whole thing of it. You look at that [ring] and you’re like, ‘I get to hang out with him forever,’ and this represents that.”
Swift and Kelce later made their awards show debut as a couple at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March. While Swift walked the red carpet solo, she met up with Kelce inside the arena. She also thanked her man onstage after Life of a Showgirl won Best Pop Album.
“This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who is here tonight,” Swift gushed in her acceptance speech. “So, thanks for the vibes.”
Swift wrote and recorded her 12th studio album, Life of a Showgirl, during the European leg of her Eras Tour in 2025 all about her experience on the road and in her relationship.
