Taylor Swift Handed Out Wads of Cash to Arrowhead Stadium Employees on Christmas: ‘Immediately Started Crying’

Taylor Swift made sure to give Arrowhead Stadium employees a special gift on Christmas while watching fiancé Travis Kelce’s NFL game.

“I was working at Arrowhead for the chiefs game Christmas day,” Robyn Gentry wrote via Facebook on Sunday, December 28. “I was doing my end of season to do list, talking with my coworkers when security goes to walk through. First it was momma kelce, then it was Travis, and then Taylor.”

Gentry continued, “She was running around telling everyone merry Christmas and came towards me, saying thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this, Merry Christmas. My mind just froze. Of course I said Merry Christmas and thank you so much. Travis and her were smiling so big and just kept saying merry Christmas, thank you for working Christmas but then they were gone and I stopped to look at what was in my hand…. $600.”

Gentry claimed that the amount was her “whole paycheck for two weeks,” and she had “just dropped that much for Christmas for 8 kids.”

“I immediately started crying,” Gentry recalled. “So I came home and cant bring myself to spend it. So I framed one. Still havent spent any but I wanted to share the story with people who will appreciate it with me Taylor and Travis are beautifully kind people. Its very true, incredible and very kind people. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to me .”

Alongside the message, Gentry shared a series of photos including six $100 bills fanned out and another pic of the cash sitting in a black frame.

This isn’t the first time that Swift, 36, has been generous to stadium employees. In 2023, Swift handed out $100 bills to food runners who served her as she watched the Kansas City Chiefs play. The next year, Jerris Rainey — a ticket taker at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York — praised Swift after meeting her at a Chiefs game.

“She’s a sweetie pie. Very down to Earth,” Rainey told 7 News Buffalo at the time. “I just wanted to just see her, and she stopped and she asked me if I worked at the stadium. I said yes, and she asked if she could give me a tip. And she gave me $100 and then she asked if I wanted to take a picture with her and I said yes.”

Which Is Your Favorite Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Moment?

Swift has continued to make headlines for her kind gestures, most recently handing out bonuses to Eras Tour employees in her new docuseries, The End of an Era. (The docuseries censored the exact amount she handed out.)

“Bonus day is so important, because setting a precedent with The Eras Tour is really important to me, because people who work on the road, if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus, and these people just work so hard and they are the best at what they do,” she said.

She continued, “It’s fun to write the notes. It’s fun to think about everybody’s lives that they’re gonna go back to and the time off they’re gonna have and the kids they haven’t seen because they’ve been away for months, and just making that worthwhile for them is really — it feels like Christmas morning when you finally get to say thank you.”
