Taylor Swift is spreading good cheer once again — just in time for the holidays!
The 36-year-old musician donated $1 million to Feeding America to end the year on a high note, according to the nonprofit.
“We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift’s $1 million gift to Feeding America,” Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot said in a press release on Tuesday, December 23. “This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we unite to end hunger. When we join together alongside people facing hunger, we can make sure families have a full table this holiday season and beyond.”
Swift’s donation will help Feeding America’s efforts to fill food banks and food pantries nationwide and eliminate hunger throughout the U.S.
According to the nonprofit, over 47 million people, including 14 million children, face hunger in America despite being the wealthiest nation in the world.
As fans of Swift know, Feeding America is one of the many charities she has donated to over the years.
Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024, the Grammy winner donated $5 million to Feeding America in hopes of helping the communities ravaged by the storms.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts,” Feeding America wrote via an Instagram statement that October. “This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms.”
Earlier that year while on the European leg of her Eras Tour, Swift helped out local food banks by donating money as well.
Swift reportedly made the largest individual donation in history to Cardiff Foodbank in Cardiff, Wales, where she performed in June 2024.
“This will provide the weight equivalent to feeding 1,200 people three meals a day, for three days — or 10,800 meals. This will be 2.5 weeks of what we typically distribute,” the charity’s chief executive, Rachel Biggs, told The Guardian at the time.

That same month, Swift performed three shows in Liverpool, England, where she donated to St Andrew’s Community Network.
The “Exile” singer ended 2024 with another sizable donation, this time to Kansas City’s Operation Breakthrough in the form of $250,000. (Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.)
Swift’s goodwill efforts don’t stop with nonprofits. Earlier this year, the “Life of a Showgirl” singer gave $100,000 to a 2-year-old girl named Lilah, who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at just 18 months old.
After Lilah’s mother shared her daughter’s health journey via social media — and revealed she made her daughter into a Swiftie by listening to the musician throughout her pregnancy — Swift donated to her GoFundMe page in October.
“Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah!” Swift wrote via the GoFundMe page. “Love, Taylor.”
Lilah’s mother, Katelynn, reacted to the kind gesture by sharing a video of herself dancing to Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.”
“Is this real life? Thank you so so much @taylorswift,” the Instagram caption read. “I am in shock. This means so much to us. I can’t express in words how incredibly grateful we are. Tyler and I can just focus on our baby girl and being together as a family. I can’t stop crying. You have given us such a beautiful gift. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
