Taylor Frankie Paul remains under probation with strict conditions for the 2023 charges that she pleaded guilty in abeyance to following an incident with her now-ex Dakota Mortensen.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 31, had an audit conducted on her probation progress last year in February 2025, Luxury Handbag Shopping can confirm, during which she was required to violate no laws, obtain a substance abuse and domestic violence evaluation and successfully complete any recommended treatments.

As part of her probation, she was also ordered to submit to drug testing and not use, consume or possess alcohol or illegal drugs.

Police arrested Taylor after the incident on February 17, 2023, and she was charged with assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child. Taylor pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge in August 2025, and the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice.

She has since completed all treatment and classes and continues to see a therapist, which Taylor reported “has been very beneficial for her,” per the 2025 assault audit report viewed by Us.

It was also noted that Taylor has maintained stable housing, where she lives with her children, and employment. (The reality star is a mom of three. She shares son Ever, 2, with Dakota, 33, and daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul.) At the time, Taylor claimed to earn $15k a month as a social media influencer. Her earnings for TV were not listed.

According to the audit report, Taylor was considered a low-risk offender for the entire probation period. “Ms. Paul has an early termination review date of February 24, 2025,” which was recommended. However, “Ms. Paul agreed to remain on supervision for the entirety of her sentence.”

Looking ahead, she is set to have a final review on August 24, 2026.

Us has learned that Taylor’s 2023 plea deal may be impacted now that there are new domestic assault allegations against the reality star, whose season of The Bachelorette has since been canceled by ABC just days before its debut on Sunday, March 22.

“When someone is on probation for a violent offense, few things are worse than picking up another arrest for a crime of violence — especially when both cases involve allegations of domestic abuse,” criminal defense attorney R.J. Dreiling exclusively told Us.

The Draper Police Department in Utah confirmed to Us that there’s an open “domestic assault investigation” involving her and Dakota related to a February incident, adding, “Allegations have been made in both directions.”

A temporary protective order has since been granted against Taylor on Friday, March 20, prohibiting her from any contact with Dakota. She must also stay at least 100 feet away from him.

Meanwhile, Dakota was granted temporary custody of their son and she is not allowed any parent time or visitation until the protective order hearing on April 7.
