Tara Lipinski and her daughter are two peas in a pod.

Lipinski, 43, took to Instagram on Monday, March 2, to share a sweet moment with daughter Georgie, 2, learning how to ice skate. In the clip, the Olympian twirled around Georgie, whom she shares with husband Todd Kapostasy.

“Can you dance like mama?” the Traitors star asked. “Come on, show me!”

Georgie then followed her mom around the rink while looking adorable in a pink tutu and bow-embellished sweater. She then showed off her own dance moves by swinging her arms. Lipinski encouraged her daughter’s efforts by screaming, “Yay!”

She kept dancing with her little one and eventually picked her up and spun with her in her arms while laughing.

“Full circle ✨,” Tipinski captioned the post. Her celebrity friends and fans gushed over the sure-to-be core memory in the comments section.

“☺️🥹🤍,” her BFF and fellow Olympics commentator Johnny Weir wrote, while Traitors costar Lisa Rinna added, “😍😍😍😍😍.” Bachelor Nation’s Becca Kufrin also commented, “She is beauty, she is grace.” More fans called Goergie “a little pro in the making.”

Lipinski, who won a gold medal at the 1998 Olympics at just 15, has been candid about her fertility issues. She and Kapostasy, 42, whom she tied the knot with in 2017, welcomed Goergie via surrogate in October 2023.

“I was 35 when I first began to think about growing my family and thought I still had plenty of time,” Lipinski wrote in an essay for Allure. “That’s the funny thing about time — it feels infinite, until it’s not.”

She then recalled her doctor telling her that, after confirming she was pregnant, there was “no heartbeat.” She said hearing the news felt like her own “heart was being ripped out of [her] chest.”

“This was my fourth miscarriage and after five years of fertility struggles,” Lipinski added. “Five years, eight egg retrievals, five transfers, one endometriosis diagnosis, twenty-two procedures under anesthesia, two abdominal surgeries, and four miscarriages.”

She added, “I was an Olympic athlete, and the strength and struggle required to compete on the world stage paled in comparison to what I experienced throughout my fertility journey.”

After her surrogate gave birth, Lipinski gushed over her baby girl via Instagram.

“It feels so surreal and I’m experiencing a feeling of happiness that I have never felt before,” she wrote. “Looking back on the last five years, I can’t help but think of all those shots, surgeries, multiple retrievals to replenish all of the miscarriages and failed transfers I endured, the miscarriages that felt like they broke me more and more each time and to the times that Todd and I thought are our dream would never come true.”
