Sydney Sweeney sparked romance rumors with Scooter Braun three months after her split from Jonathan Davino — and the new couple are still going strong.
Sweeney was spotted walking around Italy with Braun in June 2025, prior to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding, but it wasn’t until that September that the pair stepped out publicly.
“It is not serious,” a source told Luxury Handbag Shopping later that month, adding that Sweeney is not “exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun with Scooter.”
Nearly one month later, another source told Us that Braun and Sweeney’s relationship evolved and had already “become more serious.”
“Still not putting a label on it, but Sydney has been having a lot of fun with Scooter,” the insider explained in October 2025. “It has been low-pressure for both of them and has been a different relationship for Sydney. Scooter has introduced her to new perspectives, especially when it comes to business.”

The pair connected at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Italy and were spotted walking together around the streets of Venice prior to the ceremony.
“They hung out that whole weekend and had a lot of fun,” a source told Us in September 2025 of their Italian connection. “They have been texting since and have seen each other a few times.”
September 2025
After romance rumors started circulating, a source told Us that Sydney Sweeney is “not exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun with Scooter.”
“It is not serious,” the insider explained, adding that Sweeney is “dating around and in her single era without having any pressure.”
The source went on to say that Scooter Braun was “very into” Sweeney and has “been trying to see her in between her work commitments.”
Later that month, Sweeney and Braun were spotted having a dinner date in Los Angeles and at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights. Braun also attended Sweeney’s space-themed birthday party.
October 2025
Nearly one month after seemingly debuting their relationship, another source told Us that Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney “are dating and it has become more serious.”
“Still not putting a label on it, but Sydney has been having a lot of fun with Scooter. It has been low-pressure for both of them and has been a different relationship for Sydney. Scooter has introduced her to new perspectives, especially when it comes to business,” the insider explained, adding that Braun opened her “eyes to opportunities and ways of thinking she hadn’t considered before.”
According to the source, Sweeney “has been soaking up the knowledge” that Braun has from “so many different sectors and industries.”
“She truly admires the level of experience and insight he has. Beyond the business side, she respects his drive and ambition, which has inspired her in her own life,” the source said, noting they have “been constantly seeing each other the last two months” and that Braun “admires Sydney’s playful and easygoing nature and the way she brings a sense of fun into his often high-pressure world.”
Later that month, Sweeney and Braun were spotted at The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles for Matt Rife’s comedy tour, per The Hollywood Reporter.
November 2025
“Things are getting serious and it’s very real,” an insider told Us of the couple’s connection. “Neither of them expected it to turn into something serious at first and are surprised by how genuine the connection has become.”
The source noted that Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun had been “spending time together in L.A. this last month and making time in between Sydney’s busy press tour and Euphoria filming.”
“Scooter is extremely supportive and that is one of the reasons why she is so drawn to him,” the insider shared. “He’s deeply interested in her career and life, and [he] often offers valuable perspective and guidance that she really appreciates.”
That same month, Sweeney told GQ her latest outlook on romance, saying, “If love finds me, love finds me. I’m a hopeless romantic, so I hope love finds me, but I’m not the type of person that wants to go out all the time.”
The actress, who was photographed holding hands with Braun in New York City on November 4, added, “And I do believe in true love and wanting to be with someone for the rest of my life. So I’m not going to … you won’t see me jumping around a lot of places.”

“Sydney is not looking to settle down right now,” the insider said in early February. “She has been hesitant to get into another serious relationship but is enjoying her time with him.”
Despite their slower build, the source shared with Us that “Scooter loves that she has a business mindset and is very driven” and their relationship is solid.
April 2026
Sydney Sweeney was spotted kissing and holding hands with Scooter Braun at the Euphoria season 3 premiere in Los Angeles on April 7 after walking the red carpet solo. The following day, a source exclusively told Us that the couple are “the real deal,” noting that their relationship “has become very serious.”
“People around them thought that this would be just a fling, but they are committed,” the insider close to Sweeney and Scooter shared.
Over the past 10 months, the source said the actress and music executive have started to “slowly” integrate their families while “blending their lives.”
Braun, for his part, has “brought his kids around” Sweeney, while her brother, Trent, thinks Braun “is a great guy,” the insider added. (Braun shares sons Jagger and Levi and daughter Hart with ex-wife Yael Cohen.)
