Kyle Cooke was one step ahead of Us all when he previously supported Amanda Batula and West Wilson exploring a romantic connection.
“I mean I kinda thought [the rumors] were outrageous,” Cooke, 43, said of Batula and Wilson’s alleged relationship on the March 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live. “For it to go as long as it has in the news cycles is kinda shocking, but I don’t think there’s any merit to it.”
Host Andy Cohen then asked, “If you found out it was true, would you be upset?”
Cooke, who was married to Batula, 34, for four years before announcing their separation in January, admitted that a romance would catch him “by surprise.”
“It would feel a little reckless and I think I’d probably be the last person people would be worried about,” he added.“I think Ciara would probably have something to say. If it made Amanda happy, I think I would just have to vote yay.”
Wilson and Batula confirmed their romance on Tuesday, March 31, via a joint statement shared to their Instagram Stories.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the pair wrote. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

Batula and Wilson added, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” their statement continued. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
They concluded their message by sharing, “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Wilson and Miller dated while filming 2023’s season 8 of Summer House. By the end of that year, they called it quits and have been on rocky terms ever since.
