This week on Royally Us, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make their Sundance Film Festival debut, the latest on Harry’s legal case against the publishers of the Daily Mail and Kate Middleton embarks on her first solo outing of 2026 traveling through Northern England.
On Tuesday, January 27, Kate, 44, visited Family Action’s Children’s Trauma Therapy Service and met with therapists, families and children while promoting mental health and healing. At one point, she shared a lighthearted moment with a 5-year-old girl, holding a seashell to her ear and showing the child how to “hear the sea.”
Later she stopped at Wakefield Trinity Rugby League, where she joined a skills session with young players and met participants in community outreach programs that combat isolation.

Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, made their Sundance Film Festival debut, attending the premiere of the Cookie Queens documentary on Saturday, January 24. The upcoming film highlights the thrilling Girl Scout cookie sales season, coproduced by Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions.
The outing comes after Harry made several appearances at London’s High Court amid his ongoing lawsuit against the publishers of the Daily Mail. Court documents allege the intrusion into his private life left the Duke of Sussex feeling “paranoid beyond belief,” straining his mental health and personal relationships.
“He’s personally testifying as to the impact that all of this has had on him personally and that may garner a larger payout here, larger damages, because he’s introducing more of a human element to this, whereas the Daily Mirror lawsuit, I believe he testified on paper,” Senior Lawyer Rachael Bennett exclusively tells Luxury Handbag Shopping. “It may create larger damages here, just based on that personal aspect that’s being introduced.”
