Rob Schneider‘s wife, Patricia Azarcoya Schneider, quietly filed for divorce last month after 15 years of marriage, Luxury Handbag Shopping can confirm.
Patricia, 37, submitted her filing on December 8, 2025, according to court records obtained by Us on Wednesday, January 28. Rob, 62, accepted service for the petition days later on December 11, 2025, per the docs. (The Sun was the first outlet to report the split.)
Patricia listed the reason for divorce as her and Rob’s marriage “is irretrievably broken and there is no possibility of reconciliation.”
After the filing was submitted, a court order was issued requiring both Patricia and Rob to complete a mandatory parenting course within 45 days of the court’s order, Us can confirm. The estranged couple share two daughters, Miranda, 13, and Madeline, 10.
The filing also revealed that Patricia and Rob are in the process of negotiating child support, custody and spousal support.
A judge, however, agreed in a Tuesday, January 27, filing that they would seal the outcome of the divorce case moving forward — with the exes’ eventual “consent decree” to be filed as confidential.
A consent decree is “an agreement between divorcing parties regarding the terms of their divorce,” according to Arizona’s Ashley Donovan Law, PLLC.

Instead of relying on a court to make decisions on property division, spousal support and child custody, the decree allows the spouses to “reach a mutual understanding,” and once that is done, they can settle the divorce without a contested trial.
Luxury Handbag Shopping has reached out to Rob’s rep for comment.
Rob’s marriage to Patricia marked his third union. The comedian was first married to London King from 1988 to 1990. The exes share daughter Elle King, 36, who is a musician.
The Hot Chick actor went on to wed model Helena Schneider in 2002, but the pair called it quits in 2005.
Rob has been married to Patricia since 2011. The estranged couple welcomed their first daughter, Miranda, in 2012, followed by Madeline in 2016.
Throughout their marriage, Rob and Patricia have kept their daughters close. Rob has even costarred with both girls in recent projects.
Miranda and Madeline played themselves on Netflix’s Real Rob sitcom which ran for two seasons from 2015 to 2017. The sitcom gave insight into Rob’s home life with Patricia, who is a TV and film producer.
“We can’t write together. We can’t,” Patricia teased in December 2015 during a Today show appearance of the show that she and Rob did cowrite and produce together with the help of a friend and “referee.”
Rob revealed, “We kinda really went for it,” with what they showed on the series. He joked that their eldest daughter Miranda “had the best hours” because she was so young.
“I didn’t want to be safe, because it’s more exciting as a performer to be fearless, and to let my guard down more than I have ever done,” Rob told The Hollywood Reporter of the rawness of the joint project in October 2015. “I mean my wife and I might never do another season. I don’t know.”
In 2022, Miranda costarred with Rob in the film Daddy Daughter Trip, which was written and produced by Patricia. Madeline and big sister Elle also made cameos in the movie.
“My kids will have this forever. They’ll be able to show their kids this movie that we made as a family,” Rob told FanboyNation in December 2023. “And that’s beautiful.”
