Post Malone’s ex Hee Sung “Jamie” Park is taking legal steps to have full custody of their child.
According to court documents obtained by Luxury Handbag Shopping, Park asked a Los Angeles court to award her primary physical custody of the 2-year-old daughter — identified in the docs as “DDP” — she shares with Malone, 29.
In documents, Park requested joint legal custody and also asked the court that child visitation or parenting time be granted to Malone (whose real name is Austin Post).
She is also asking Malone to pay attorney fees, per the documents. (TMZ was first to report the news.)
Us has reached out to Malone’s rep and Park’s attorney for additional comment.
Despite his A-list status in Hollywood, Malone has been able to keep details surrounding his family life private. He has yet to reveal a photo of his daughter or her full name, and he kept Park’s identity quiet during their romance.
During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, however, the Grammy nominee shared a rare look inside his life as a father.
“It changes your life in the best way ever, and the most beautiful thing is she has a beautiful mom,” he shared in August 2024 before remembering his daughter’s voice. “I’ll never forget her. If you’ve heard her cry, you’ll never forget her, either.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the “I Had Some Help” singer — who has his daughter’s initials tattooed on his forehead — credited his ex and his child for turning his life around.
“Four years ago, I was on a rough path,” he said. “It was terrible.”
When asked about “Yours,” a song on his country album, F-1 Trillion, the rapper turned country singer confirmed the track is about his child’s eventual wedding day.
“I think about it a lot,” he shared, before admitting he’s “written a whole lot of songs” about his only child.
This summer, Malone has his calendar full as he prepares to hit the road for The Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell.
Before the shows begin, the artist is inviting fans to participate in his “Travelin’ Tailgate.”
“Party with us on select concert dates along the BIG ASS Stadium Tour,” he shared via Instagram on March 4. “Cold Buds. Good food. Some kick ass new merch. Carnival games. Tattoos from the boys @oxfordcircletattoo. Live + local music.”
As for how he makes time for both his professional and personal life, Malone once admitted that it’s easier said than done.
“It’s tough having a balance, between dedicating my life to music and dedicating time for [my partner],” he said on The Breakfast Club in 2016. “It’s tough because you want to get into the studio, you want to do as good music as you can, sometimes you’re real busy.”
