Ashlee Simpson and her new beau Vincent Piazza couldn't keep their hands off each other on Sunday in New York.
Simpson, 26, and the Boardwalk Empire actor shared a passionate smooch on the sidewalk. The couple also enjoyed brunch at La Bottega in The Maritime Hotel. "She was extremely touchy feely," an onlooker told Luxury Handbag Shopping.
The PDA-packed afternoon came on the heels of Piazza's recent visit to spend a few days with Simpson in L.A. earlier this month. "Vincent's a chill guy, very artsy, the quiet type," a pal told Us. "He likes her."
In February, Simpson officially filed for divorce from her hubby of nearly three years, Pete Wentz. She and Wentz, 32, have tried to remain amicable for the sake of their 2-year-old son Bronx.

"Ashlee's been my best friend for five years. She's the mother of my child," Wentz said during Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show in March. "I have nothing but love and respect for her."
