Paris Jackson and Justin Long brought their low-key romance into the spotlight with news of their engagement.
In December 2024, Jackson revealed that music producer Long (not to be mistaken for actor Justin Long), popped the question through a sweet Instagram birthday tribute. “Happy birthday my sweet blue,” she captioned never-before-seen pics of them from over the years. “Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. thank you for letting me be yours. i love you.”
Paris is the second eldest of Michael Jackson’s three children. The legendary pop star, who died at age 50 in 2009, shared Paris and son Prince with his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, and welcomed son Bigi via surrogate in 2002.
Paris has primarily kept her love life private over the years, only sharing a rare few snaps of Long via her Instagram before their engagement announcement. Over the years, she has dated musicians Michael Snoddy and Gabriel Glenn and was romantically linked to supermodel/actress Cara Delevingne in 2018.

June 2022
The couple were rumored to have gotten together around June 2022. That month, Long shared his first Instagram post about Paris, praising her performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which he worked on as a sound technician.
November 2022
Paris included a snap of her and Long posing with her bandmates in an Instagram slideshow of random life photos. “The most fun, all of the gratitude ❤️,” she captioned the post.
February 2023
Long was featured in another of Paris’ Instagram carousels, which she captioned, “happiest when I’m with you.”
May 2023
Long worked on the sound mixing for Paris’ set at the BottleRock music festival, sharing pics and clips of himself at work via Instagram. Paris, for her part, tagged Long’s Instagram profile in a video of her performance.
June 2023
“This song is a vibe, ‘Blue Moon’ by @steinzaaa and @parisjackson is out now,” Long captioned a Spotify screenshot of Paris and Steinza’s track via Instagram. “I recorded her vocals.”
August 2023
Long shared a rare Instagram snap of himself and Paris, in which he seemingly helped her fix a part of her outfit backstage at a performance.
September 2024
Paris was spotted flashing what looked like an engagement ring at Paris Fashion Week, though she did not address the speculation at the time.
December 2024
In addition to announcing the pair’s engagement through a birthday Instagram post, Paris took to her Instagram Story to share more pics and clips from her and Long’s relationship, writing, “bday❤️.”
The snaps included glimpses at their travels together, behind-the-scenes performance pics, Long playing the guitar while at home with Paris’ dog and photos from their engagement. Long popped the question in what looked like a grant hotel lobby, after which Paris leaned down to give him a kiss.
