Nick Cannon is sharing his perspective on the allegations surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.

“The Puff I knew I started to see, I felt like he wanted to change and was evolving and was, like, ‘Yo, I want to be the father,’’ Cannon, 44, shared on the Monday, October 21, episode of the “No Jumper” podcast. “He had been through so much s—.”

Diddy’s life was turned upside down in September when he was arrested and indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. The rap mogul, who is the father of seven children, has pleaded not guilty and has denied all allegations.

He remains behind bars at New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center before his trial begins in May 2025.

Recently, Diddy’s six oldest children expressed support for their father in a rare public statement.

“The past month has devastated our family,” they shared via a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, October 22. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way.”

In his latest podcast interview, Cannon expressed doubt about some of the allegations Diddy, 54, is facing, saying, “I think so much stuff is sensationalized.”

He also denied seeing anything inappropriate at Diddy’s infamous parties.

“I leave early,” he said. “I’m the DJ. When it’s time for me to wrap up, I’m out. … Supposedly, whatever they got, we’re gonna see in May.”

Earlier this month, Cannon appeared on “The Breakfast Club” radio program and admitted he was a “kid” around “16, 17” the first time he went to one of Diddy’s parties.

“Everybody gets scared to talk because they probably got something to hide,” the TV host, who stated he doesn’t drink or do drugs, said. “I ain’t got nothing to hide. I was in there Harlem shaking, doing all of that stuff, but it wasn’t — come on, whatever.”

“People [take] pause and all of that,” Cannon added, presumably of other celebrities who’ve stayed silent on their Diddy party past. “What you hiding? Why you always thinking like that?”

In a 14-page indictment, Diddy was also accused of orchestrating “Freak Offs,” which are alleged “elaborate and produced sex performances” that reportedly took place in various hotel rooms.

When the topic of sex came up in his latest interview, Cannon said his thoughts on intimacy have evolved.

“As someone who’s had lots of sex as well, I go to the space of I’m tired more than I want more,” he said. “Even as a man in his 40s, I’m done with all that s—. I’m not even talking about the physical act of it. Just mentally, I’m talking just dealing with the bulls—.”
