The Secret Lives of Mormon Wive star Jessi Draper‘s divorce is still making headlines after estranged husband Jordan Ngatikaura filed a restraining order against her.

In court documents obtained by Luxury Handbag Shopping, Jordan, 31, filed a TRO request on Friday, March 20, and she filed her opposition the same day. No further details about the nature of the claims in the documents were made available.

Luxury Handbag Shopping has reached out to reps for comment.

Jordan’s request for a temporary restraining order came one day after news broke that he filed to end their marriage. (Jessi has yet to break her silence.)

“This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart,” Jordan told Luxury Handbag Shopping on Thursday, March 19. “I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported and protected through this transition.”

He continued: “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”

The estranged couple, who share two kids, got married in 2020. Their marriage was featured on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, with Jessi, 33, being accused of infidelity in season 2. She ultimately revealed she had an emotional affair with Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette.

“I wouldn’t say I was in love with him. It only lasted about two weeks, so it was quick. But I will say I confided in him a lot,” Jessi exclusively told Us ahead of the season 3 premiere in November 2025. “The dynamic with Jordan that I had had in my marriage, I hadn’t really talked to anyone about it. My family and friends had been aware because they’d seen things, but I tried to be like, ‘Everything’s fine.'”

Jessi recalled sharing her marriage struggles with Marciano, including how Jordan allegedly “treated” her.

“I did feel a connection to him in that sense because he was there for me and he made me feel special,” she said. “Jordan would put me down a lot. Marciano told me how pretty and cool and fun I was. I felt like there was a connection there because he was giving me something I was lacking. But I wouldn’t say I was in love with him.”

Jordan, for his part, floated the idea of divorce in the aftermath.

“I just remember one of the things that I promised [Jessi’s dad in the past] was that divorce was not an option for me. I don’t want to do this with that ever even being an option. This is it,” he said on an episode of “The Viall Files” podcast in November 2025. “[But] I told Jessi that if it ever gets like that again [with our marriage], I don’t want anything to do with this relationship either.”

More recently, Jessi opened up on the show about her concerns if her marriage was to end, saying in an episode released earlier this month, “I met with my dad to go over this prenup. But it’s been over five years.”

Jessi expressed concern that Jordan would be “a hard person to be married to” and a “harder person to divorce.”

“We discovered that me and Jordan did not have witnesses sign [the prenup], so that could mean that the prenup is voided,” Jessi revealed to her costars before breaking into tears. “This information has really rattled me because I just don’t know what that could mean for me, my business and the security of my family.”

Jessi was worried about putting her business and family in “a terrible situation,” adding, “I just don’t know what will happen. I’ll probably lose millions. He’s entitled to anything in the last five years that I’ve created. When we got married, I was worth a lot less than I am now. So it just sucks and I don’t want to do that to my family.”

She continued: “He’s entitled to it, so I could see him doing it [where he asks for] child support or I would owe him alimony. … Jordan has made a lot of changes, but if I’m basing it off of the Jordan that I was married to for four years — that Jordan would be a very hard person to divorce. He would be spiteful and vindictive. I think he would play a little bit dirty. So I just have to prepare myself that if we do get divorced that it could go that way.”
