Millie Bobby Brown shared a sweet moment with her daughter while celebrating her 22nd birthday.
Brown, who turned 22 on Thursday, February 19, took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her and her little one, whom she shares with husband Jake Bongiovi. In the pic, the Stranger Things star sat on a beach during sunset while wearing a tan sweater with a dog printed on the pack. Brown clipped her brunette hair up and looked down towards her daughter and gave her a soft smile.
Brown’s baby girl sat next to her while wearing a light brown onesie with animal ears attached to her hood.
“22,” she captioned the post. “Grateful for my husband and daughter. For my family and friends. all of my animals. I am so blessed. Thank you for the birthday wishes. Xoxo.”
Her fans wished her a good one in the comments section, with one person writing, “Your first birthday as a mother 🥺.” o Another added, “Happy birthday Millie! Wish you all the best❤️.” A third follower also commented, “Happy birthday, beautiful mills <333.”
Brown, who announced that she and Bongiovi, 23, adopted a daughter in August 2025, opened up about motherhood in an interview with British Vogue in November 2025. While chatting, the Enola Holmes star shared that she doesn’t intend to reveal her little one’s name.
“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” she explained. “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support.”
Brown, who was just 12 years old when she starred on season 1 of Stranger Things, added, “But right now, as she’s so little. As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
Brown also gushed about the “beautiful, amazing journey” she was experiencing through motherhood. “She’s taught us so much already,” the actress added. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.” When it comes to her dynamic with Bongiovi, Brown said that they take on parenting duties “50-50.”
“That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life – he is just the most amazing dad,” she praised.
Back in August 2025, Brown and Bongiovi announced via Instagram that they expanded their family. “This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote in a shared post. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
Brown and Bongiovi met in 2021 and started dating that same year. In 2023, Bongiovi got down on one knee and proposed to Brown on a beach. They secretly tied the knot in May 2024 and celebrated their nuptials in Italy in October 2024.
